Its hard to call it a solid upgrade when it's hard to distinguish exactly what has been upgraded...

Screen, camera, case, all of the internals excluding the flash memory.

The battery on my 4S is shit. Felt like it was a step backward from the 4, which is the biggest leap forward I have seen in cell phones since the OG iPhone. Apple having trouble competing with their own past.
