It won't be very fun at the gym, will it Apple!? Will it!?

Those iPod touch prices are gross and I don't know where this leaves the iPad mini. Already thinking that I might go with a Nexus 7 if a 16GB iPad mini costs more than 300 bones.

It's obviously going to cost more than $300...that should be obvious now. I'm going to say $399 for base model.

I'm the only one excited about earbuds? this is the first redesign in forever
Nope, I am as well. I like using the headphones so I don't have to hold the phone up when making calls. I'm also excited cause I don't plan on upgrading, I'll try out iOS 6 for a bit then jailbreak, that should hold me over until next year. (on a 4s)

I'm sorry, but you're insane if you think Apple cares about the Classic, or should care about the Classic. There's no reason in hell they would want to bring attention to it. It's still available for the small percentage of people who want it, and thats fine. Marketing it would be useless.

Besides, they were busy spending three years designing headphones that direct audio into your ears, as opposed to all those other headphones that direct audio directly into your asshole.

This is what I said last week about the new Nano design;

If this is what these things really look like, it's basically an ugly mini-Lumia

And it came true, it really is glaring. BUT, if you have an old iPod Nano (watch), the new iPods are basically the same as the watch design, simply elongated and widened. That's it. But still, it resembles Lumia 920..

Also worth noting that Apple has played with this design since pre-iPhone 1;

Not a single mention of clock speeds, or anything else about the CPU or RAM on the site.

Hiding the facts as usual. Looking forward to some hilarious specs once people do benchmarks.

Not the colors, the design:

those really are very, very similar.

I have to wonder if Apple picked white as the accent color on purpose (instead of the black they used on previous nanos to surround the screen) because they knew how similar it looks to the Lumia (or N9) design.

Why do you care about the earpods price? I'm sure they're included in the package, and nobody would buy apple headphones as a replacement with their record of shitty headphones.

No one seemed to catch up on this, but by the pictures of the iPhone 5 on apple's website, the headphone-jack is on the bottom of the phone.

Why?

For games and such then I assume? Because be it listening to music, web browsing or reading mail etc; My 4 handles all of this perfectly fine.

iPhone is much more than Music, web browsing and reading mail. plus you have LTE on the new iPhone which is faster in areas than what iPhone 4 had. if you just wanted Music, web browsing and reading mail, 3GS is still good enough

Pretty much this. And I would assume they'll be a rip individually. $39 at least.

Uhh but won't those same benchmarks just show the Apple devices in 1st or 2nd place anyway?

Okay, so the iPad mini apparently isn't happening. Now I have to make the choice between a Nexus 7 and an iPad. thanks, jerks.

It had been almost 100% confirmed that it wasn't happening today for a while. it'll be an October event.

We all knew this for a few weeks. it was in the WSj and everywhere else online.

Err.. for those making snarky remarks about the new nano copying the Lumia, let me jog your memory to the 4th gen Nano. They basically replaced the scroll wheel with the home button. When the Lumia 1st came out EVERYONE was comparing it to the nano design wise.

I loved this ipod to death. So sad mine broke (which was my own fault).

Pretty pleased, all things considered. My only concern was that I'd hate the design of the iPhone 5 and I don't.

Since I game on my phone a lot moving away from iOS ain't an option. iOS has the software support of the 360, PS3 and PC where Android is more like Wii and WinMo is a Vita. Given that, I'm just glad they didn't fuck anything up on the phone I was always going to get anyway.

For the most part, that's like the PS3 no games meme at this point.

I'm not saying that there aren't equivalent apps on the Windows Marketplace, but if I did a side by side comparison of the App Market, the Play Store, and the Windows marketplace or whatever they call it, I'm guessing that the App Market would have the most, then the Play Market would match maybe 75%, and the Windows Market would be a distant third.

Clearly it's been proven out that the market (or at least >90 percent of it) really cares about spec comparison matrixes.

People still crying about benchmarks? What is the 90s? Is not like anyone is trying to run Crysis or Gaussian blur filters on an smartphone.
