Any difference gameplay wise between the two versions? Do they do anything with the dual screens that the vita can't do?

You can write notes on the bottom screen for 3DS.
Vita version looks a little better and has trophies.

Yeah, 3DS obviously has the benefit of two screens.
Vita version has the benefit of better graphics/higher resolution/OLED, and the sound was also better if you are using the external speakers (although this was tested with a 3DS, so it may or may not be better on an LL).

It's anything but generic. It's a gripping murder mystery with twists at every turn.
You like Umineko, don't you? It's that, if Ryukishi had an editor who knew how to tighten his copy.

Also has phenomenal moody electronic music by Shinji Hosoe of Beatmania fame.

This is a direct sequel to 999, and massive relevations in 999 will be spoiled outright by playing VLR first. Play 999, and then VLR. Trust me on this one.

Haha, same. I asked at EB and they had no idea what I was talking about. And the game also isn't up on Best Buy or Future Shop. I hope Amazon.ca does something, but I think I'm just kidding myself.

I'm sure as hell not, it's the worst case scenario for anyone outside of the US. Amazon refuse to ship it internationally which leaves horribly overpriced eBay auctions as the only option.
