I dont see howd youd do a live action version of this. Animation is a better fit.

Animation doesn't capture spectacle well.
GoW would benefit from live action.

The overwhelming majority of the show would just be all CGI. They would never have the budget to make it look good.

If this were gonna be good, it'd be all about spectacle of crazy god/titan fights of the original trilogy, maybe even focus a good portion of the first season of his regular human days leading up to obtaining the Blades of Chaos. If you wanted to skimp on the action scenes, you could even do a "monster of the week" type episode where it focuses on the gods being petty shits and ends with Kratos hunting them down.

But what we'll get is Dad of Emotions of War with a cast that consists of weak willed Kratos and a bunch of unlikeable side characters that boss him around and talk down to him the entire time.
