Fighting Games Weekly | September 10-16

So Team Northeast is Yipes, Chris G, MarlinPie guaranteed.

Figure we keep with the 8 players we had here.

Josh Wong would be in easy, but he wouldn't go, because he's Josh Wong.

So next is RayRay, Noel Brown.

Last three is someone from Dieminion, Fooblat, TA Predator, or Flux.

Moonz bro.

If its Aftershock 8v8 then here are my picks for Ec::

Yipes
ChrisG
MarlinPie
Flocker
Noel Brown
RayRay
Moonz
DJ Houshen

Unless Jwong is in ec.

Or is it just New York/LI?? In that case I would add TA Predator.

Considering that Justin was complaining publicly about being cut out of this event because he's "Technically East Coast" for them not to include him on the East in the follow-up would seem really shady.

Of course, he might not WANT to play for the East Coast, but it'd be hard to argue that he's ineligble should he agree to play for them.

so if we keep the 8 vs 8

Yipes
MAlin pie
Chris G
Dieminion
RayRaY
Foobalt
Justinwong
Noel Brown

Yipes
MarlinPie
Chris G
RayRay
Flocker
Noel Brown
Josh Wong
?

I feel like the right answer to save time would be Dieminion on the last spot, but I also feel like there's some East Coast killers that we haven't really been mentioning a lot lately. Also shame on anyone making this list and omitting Flocker.

Edit: DJHuoshen, fuck yea. Also, Stoop Kid||Bum.

it would be pretty hype if justin played for ec

Another East vs West? West has won 2-0 in mvc3 but I guess a 3rd time was going to happen regardless.

Derek Smith ‏@BaroqueSampson
@JWonggg but according to the west coast, you're too east coast. Which means you gotta play for EC. #justinwongheelturn

Justin Wong ‏@JWonggg
@BaroqueSampson seems like it

I feel like a million bucks. Today was my daughter's 11th birthday and I had a great time with friends. Now I'm packing for a long trip to Tokyo and some other travels afterwards. I'm going to miss my home even though I've done this trip a hundred times before.

Happy Birthday to my lil' girl! <3

NorCal and SoCal both aren't even states they are just areas of a probably a few area codes in a region of a state.

Yet EC teams get to combine a combination of like 20+ states?

Kind of unfair don't you think? You have as far north as New York stretching down to Flordia. o.0

I know the EC is a lot more spread out, but since they are (and can't do region vs region) why not do city vs city.

When you take an entire coast you usually leave out a lot of the lesser known players. You know like the Drew Grimey, K-Beast, Wentienls, YtwoJay, Honzo Gonzo's of the world. We get to see the big time sponsor players at every major... eventually they all run into each other at either team/singles.

The salt in Fanatiq.... he choked hard. Speaking of chokes ....Infrit had two shot to win it for SoCal. Once again Grimey, and another at K-Beast blew both of them.

This has to be the Kadey Curse.

Didn't you know? EC = East of Cali.

they would need to do a west coast vs. east coast....NYC has would need to be split into jersey vs. brooklyn or something for that to even be fair.

I don't think I've seen anyone play as well as Fuudo did in the finals. Incredible performance.
