Now Michigan will beat Notre Dame and they'll both be back and play for the National championship. The real victim here will be Eastern Michigan's football team next week.

Enjoy the easy sledding while you can, dat fierce OSU D is waiting in Stillwater in two weeks.

Ok, I'm a little scared

Texas did look damn good, but mre was not wrong in that competent DBs would have picked a few of those long balls. The running game, though. I hope your LBs are ready for some big hits.

What are you talking about? I'm the only Irish fan on here, and I'll let their play speak for itself .

Talking about in general. ESPN and other outlets already talk about ND too much and now that they have a win we'll surely see them skyrocket in the polls and suddenly enter the National Title discussion.

Ash threw only one really good deep ball downfield. The rest were very underthrown, but I'm still very encouraged by the way he played yesterday. Definite step in the right direction.

Yeah, I hope they don't dial those up unless its 1 on 1 against a bad CB or safety. Granted, that's the whole point of running our offense, getting those mismatches downfield on play action, but still. I don't want to see him taking those shots against OU's secondary unless he knows the guy covering sucks.

I was at the Stanford-USC upset last night and rushed the field! Third year in a row I've seen that Pac-12 matchup in person, and it was amazing!

You rushed the field after beating a team you had beaten 5 of the last 6 years? And you were ranked? And you went to a BCS game last year?

When in Rome!

Also, the USC fans were super hostile on the Farm yesterday for no real reason! The heartbreak and bitter tears is so sweet!

*sigh*

Notre Dame beats someone and now we get to listen to people fucking yap about them like they're the greatest thing ever again. Why can't Notre Dame just fucking collapse into oblivion and be forgotten. Why won't you just die?!

USC just hasn't looked very good all season. Last week against Syracuse should've been a clear warning sign for what happened yesterday.

Agreed, I think Harsin will be a lot more conservative against better defenses. I also want to see Gray get some more touches on offense too. I don't want Berg and Brown to get beat up like they did last year.

lets make another topic. I'm sorry Blue, that your team lost, but that doesn't mean it can't be made fun of. The topics live off of the misfortunes of losing teams for years, and you should not be able to attempt to avoid the same thing to your team. Bad form, old chap.

Berg is already beaten up, he was taken off the field and didn't return last night. Shoulder injury, taken off during the 3rd.

No word on severity, or if he didn't return because we were up big and didn't want to risk more problems.

On other worrying news, Jordan Hicks was injured in the second and didn't return.

That escalated...quickly.

The surgeon general should outlaw tailgating for more than 8 hours. I feel not so good. Talked to some bros in chaps and cowboy hats. Good times yesterday. Not so much the reckoning.

Yeah, I was reading one of the Q&As between Burnt Orange Nation and Red Cup, and they were pondering the affect of a fanbase use to drinking for an afternoon game drinking for the late night game.

I was going to say the same, and say I would make one. This is what college football is all about, reveling in the misery of the others!

I picked South Carolina to win the east at the beginning of the season. Not sure I'm still confident that they will. Shaw will not last the season getting hit as much as he has been.

I remembering someone talking about malware in the college topics. Sounds like it's off of SBNation stuff, they're having technical difficulties:

We're aware that many of you are having trouble with the site right now. SBN is working on the problem, which appears to be a wonky ad that is causing the sites to either load improperly (or not at all ) in Firefox, IE, and Safari, or give a malware warning in Chrome. There are no malware issues, your computer is perfectly safe. Bear with us 'til things get back to normal.

I made a thread in 2007, and #7 SC lost to Vanderbilt. I made another thread in 2010, and #10 SC lost at Kentucky. And I had to watch that game in person.

Be careful.

I'm not sure how I feel about this season yet.

One one hand, we have 15 scholarship players out on injury, most of them are defensive starters. We can't stop anyone with our normal players, its worse now.

On the other hand, the meat of our ACC schedule is really shitty. If we beat Memphis (we should but we're still talking Duke here) we're 3-1 with winnable games vs Wake, UVA, UNC, Miami, and I think we can give VT, we played GT pretty close last year, who knows.

Something needs to go our way for once.

Also, I would love to see the SEC get another MNC game. Mainly because after two years in a row it will piss off the other conferences enough to make bigger changes in the playoff proposal, and hopefully push expansion once again.

Would a one loss LSU/Bama make it over a one loss Texas or OU though if it came down to that?

A one loss LSU/Bama would make it over 100% of other one loss teams and probably 80% of undefeated teams.

Not if you already have undefeated LSU/Bama at #1. Texas/OU would get in no question unless they follow the Okie State blueprint and lose to a team that should be an easy win toward the very end of the season.

Thankfully OSU has maybe the best secondary in the Big 12. It'll come down to whether Texas can run the ball effectively.

I'm more nervous about how our young QBs will play. At least UT will have to prepare for both Lunt and Walsh now.

Damn, the voters definitely aren't giving us the benefit of the doubt after that Cal game. Can't say I blame them.

I was convinced that Sparty was going to hand us our first loss in a couple of weeks, but after that ND game, I don't know what to expect.

Spoiler Alert: They probably will.
Really, what I think this game comes down to, is how bad the OSU QBs burn Texas' secondary.

Very nice!

OP is awesome.

Go FSU. Clemson is quickly becoming our biggest rival, and is almost certainly our second biggest at this point. Usually decided by whoever is at home. The games are usually fun to watch, Clemson fans aren't typically assholes, fun games.

I hope we kick their patooties this weekend.

Go Noles!

No matter how bad Wake Forest is, we still pummeled them and FSU's defense has only allowed 3 points thus far this year.

If only we had a passing game...

If we could throw the ball I would buy into the MNC hype. As it is, we have very little chance without some major developments from Ej.
