I briefly entertained the thought of rooting for Stanford to win out so USC could face them again in the Pac-12 CCG.

But there is pretty much no way Oregon doesn't murder them by 21+ like the last two years. Ah, well.

The Texas v TCU game I'm going to in November is shaping up nicely.

Can't say that for the Colorado/Arizona game that I might drive to...

I'd like it to happen so Barkley can lose to Stanford 5 times and tie Chris Rix's record for losses to one opponent. Damn California QBs..

Our defense seems great but we haven't seen any talent yet.

I think we'll score some points, especially if you guys decide to double Sammy, which will leave Hopkins in single coverage all day. I just think you guys will control the clock against our defense, which will limit our opportunities.

The only good teams in the ACC play against each other this weekend. Should be a good one.

Seriously though..somehow the ACC is worse this year than last. How is that possible?

FSUGAF, YOU'RE GOING DOWN THIS WEEKEND!

We lose by 3 touchdowns :(

We struggled mightily last year against your offense and we had one of the best defenses in the country then too. We usually have issues with mobile QBs like Boyd. If your defense is as bad as you say maybe we'll be able to run on you....I have no confidence in Manuel to do anything in the passing game.

We'll see. I think we can stop a straightforward rushing attack.

Should be a good game. Huge for both teams.

Malcolm Brown is no mere mortal.

I don't think Texas will be able to keep up with OSU's offense unless the secondary can force some turnovers. Next year is the year.

Go Dawgs, Bye is going down this week baby!

wChf+

This is the greatest gif of the season so far.

Go fuck yourselves.

I'll add pick later but as for anything else, fuck off.

Life has no meaning.

I'm just glad you guys are alive and still posting.

Guys, I'm booking my trip to the Rose Bowl. Do they have an IHOP near the stadium?

You can go to In N Out!

Also, to the people talking up FSU. Can we please wait till they play a real team before you guys jump on the bandwagon.

Eidt: Which is next week, for those who don't know. Clemson vs FSU should be one hell of a game. Winner of that game will win the ACC.

FSU IS BACK BABY

Goldy snubbed again.

They'll be forced to recognize when you guys go to the Rose Bowl!

Rutgers-Arkansas.

I didn't expect that Rutgers would have more votes in the polls at this juncture than Arkansas.

This game has gone from house money, to one where there is some pressure to win.

Thanks John L. Smith.

Yeah, I thought we had a chance when they were going to overlook us ... but that isn't going to happen now.

In classic John L mode, he'll pull out a win or two they're not really expected to win. I am guessing they win this week.

I remember his final year at U of L, a crappy 7-6 team beat Florida State, but also couldn't even get a piece of the C-USA title against a horrible Houston team in an empty Houston stadium at the end of the year.

USC could very easily lose at Cal next weekend (who is built the same way as Stanford only with better skill position players).

That Tennessee DB that I mentioned "it looked like he got shot" on that long touchdown pass and catch from Florida, turns out that tore his ACL, out for the year. That WR has knee tearing Jukes....not fair.

Can someone who's better than me at reading lips tell me what Muschamp is saying?

I can get as far as: "I....am going to fucking" and it might be followed by stab, but it rambles on into galactic anger mouth.

I'm just checking in to express subdued optimism for Northwestern. They've been exhibiting more skill than the stat sheets show—they seem better than they've been playing and have gotten a few unlucky breaks in clutch plays.

Yet somehow they've won a shoot out and two grind-it-out games against BCS AQ teams. And they actually have a defense that's making stops on third down.

If they stay healthy, I think they've got potential to make some noise in a pretty weak B1G field this year. If nothing else, I expect them to get ranked if they throttle South Dakota next week, on its own an accomplishment (I don't think they've been ranked since 2009).

Pasadena this year?

QB situation needs to be figured out.

I think it'd take a lot of magic for a B1G championship to fall into place, but NU's schedule hasn't been this favorable in years.

Based on post-game interviews with both Colter and Siemien, I get the sense that they both know they're not playing to their potential and both seem to be speaking from genuine humility.

And if that's the case I don't see why a QB rotation is a bad thing. It forces defenses to make adjustments because their play styles are so different, and as long as it doesn't add a lot of communication cost or off-the-field noise, I don't think there's much downside to keeping the rotation going.

I've been pretty impressed with both.

I was almost certain that would be the case, but didn't see any confirmation last night. Sucks for him.

I was under the impression the game was @ Cal when I said that - but I still think it's not far fetched.

I think Oregon will get challenged by Zona this week. We should win but if we're as unfocused as we were this week then we're in trouble.

PAC 12 looks crazy deep this year.

*high five*

Why do Bama fans hate ND? I asked my dad, who is a staunch lifelong catholic, why he disliked the Domers. He said he thought ND was a great university and he'd love to go there to visit. As for their football team, he'd dealt with their fans for a lifetime and is just sick of their shit. While he doesn't want the team to fade into irrelevance, he'd prefer they'd make the MNC game every now and then....and lose every time.
