The last day of 2nd TOPANGA League (A):

Fuudo (Fei Long) vs. Bon-chan (Sagat) 10-5
☆ ○●○○●○○●○○●●○○
Umehara (Ryu) vs. sako (Ibuki) 9-11
☆ ●●●○○○○●○●●○○●●○●|●●
Bon-chan (Sagat) vs. Uryo (Sakura) 10-0
☆ ○○○○○○○○○
sako (Ibuki) vs. Kazunoko (Yun) 2-10
★ ●●●●●●●●○○●
Umehara (Ryu) vs. Fuudo (Fei Long) 5-10
☆ ○●●○○●●○●●●●●●

I don't think I've seen anyone play as well as Fuudo did in the finals. Incredible performance.

Thanks for posting. Man, imagine if Fuudo adds the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Tournament to his Evo and Tougeki titles. Would pretty much be the undisputed SFIV king.

Would be interested to see him face Infiltration though. I remember in one Cross Counter Interview with Zhi back at Evo 2011 he said he was desperate to not fall into losers and face Tokido. He sees Gouki as a terrible matchup for him.

Everybody in here saying to divide EC up doesn't make sense. WC is more than just Cali. Just because all the good players just so happen to reside there doesn't mean they should "fine print" EC into saying you can only go state by state.

Also, Sagat vs Sakura 10-0 confirmed?

It all boils down to the question of whether or not Florida should be considered EC, and that's a difficult question to answer because Florida can be considered to be both EC and South.

That's a terrible "results" tier list. I know because I made one using empirical data. Magneto is #1 by a mile and then it's Doom. Vergil is much further down the list. No way Zero and Strange are the same tier. Iron Fist and Frank West should be much higher. And various other inconsistencies. This is just a loose interpretation of what is happening in tournaments these days and hardly indicative of anything really.

What this man said.

Pretty much any tier list out of FGTV house is skewed, horribly subjective nonsense. FChamp especially is ignorant to the game at large outside of the characters he or FGTV crew plays.

Actually FChamp's own tier lists (the one that he doesn't make WITH other people) are probably one of the most legit pro player tier lists out there. The problems with FChamp's tier list are consistency and of course familiarity with all the characters + personal bias. He will move around a few characters based on current performances, like he basically moved Firebrand up into top 15 after his exposure with Zak at SS.

For the longest time FChamp wouldn't even put Dormammu in top 10 because of the flame carpet nerf.

I was hoping X-Ray would perform a little better. He's been pretty inconsistent, recently. He did pretty well at EVO, but after that it's been kinda up and down.

And I was actually hoping CJ Showstopper was gonna beat Infrit for teh lulz and demoralization.

but DAMN KBEAST AND HONZO.

K-Beast confirmed for best in the west coast. He might not have Vergil.... but he has JAM SESSION!

If only SoCal would of thrown their jam session player in there! /salt

That Yipes video on the end... holy shit !!

Can't wait for whatever happens with that
hopefully they are scraping the US vs World match at SB and repleacing it with EC vs WC

Depending on if how much of the Japanese show up I would rather see US vs the World than EC vs WC. They are gonna save EC vs WC for the next after shock anyway.

Finally Kbeast breaks through and doesnt get randomed out.

chou, kusoru, abegen, maybe zak bennett and who else are worth playing against?
A couple Canadian players like Nickcam and RDK and some from UK. The Mexican player Takeuka. The two Brazilian players Brian Kusagano and the mythical Jill/Skrull player. The Japanese players are already listed. That pretty much encompasses the entirety of known threats in Marvel outside the USA except those already chosen.

I personally would choose Kusuro or Chou and Zak as the remaining 2.

How about the Mexican dude who made Evo top 8?
Frutsy is already chosen among the 5 to represent world.
