They're not back until they go undefeated. Clemson may be top 10 right now, but Clemson is Clemson. They're equally likely to go 4-4 the rest of the way as 8-0. Nobody else in the ACC should be able to touch FSU. They have to run the gauntlet in the ACC, beat Florida, and go to a bowl undefeated.

Then they are back.

Until they get rolled by 'Bama.

It's really tough watching us in the 4th quarter of games, and to a further extent, the latter part of the season as a whole. Our strength and conditioning program has been a long running joke and it's pretty obvious when you see most of the damage done against us later in games and later in the season. Our players are just not as conditioned as they should be, and it kills us. Too bad our Bozo coach refuses to acknowledge it and even defends it. I wish we could just send him packing and move Morris up to HC. He doesn't put up with any shit.

I do think that the model of having a (relatively) modestly paid HC and very well paid coordinators is a smart one. I just dont think Swinney is very good even for his more limited role. Swinney is basically a great recruiting coordinator who just happens to have final say over everything.

Good thing Brent's defense has proven that they can still give up 70 points when the situation calls for it.
