Because of how avx ended, I am most interested in what happens to cyclops next. "character assassination" is much more extreme than I would agree with, but he certainly does not look very heroic right now. He is kind of the embodiment of the saying "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". How does he come to terms with himself for the things he did? How do the other mutants feel about him right now? I understand that people don't like it when characters they like or are emotionally invested in end up in situations like this, but it's things like this that allow a character to grow and develop. I certainly hope that Marvel does not change course despite so many people's displeasure of cyclops not being so much of a boyscout anymore. He is still lawful good (notice how his disposition towards his actions change after the fact of avx) and the core of the character is still there. However, lawful good does not mean lawful nice.
That being said, I am really hope Wolverine does not become the leader of the X-men or something like that.
