SAO 14
SAO singlehandedly justifies everything bad that everyone has ever said about Japan.
I can understand if Sword Art Online makes you rail against otaku or whatever, but using it to tar an entire country is a bit much.

SAO 14
Fuck you Reki Kawahara.
SAO 14
Seriously. Why. Even in the fucking episode, the villain asks the "reader" why.
And there's no answer. SAO singlehandedly justifies everything bad that everyone has ever said about Japan. People who hate anime are right. It's the shittiest medium of shit ever shat out by shitty people preying on even shittier consumers. And I say that as someone half-ironically playing an iOS game where I can pretend I'm talking to characters from Aria.
I mean, I forgot the atrociousness that was episode 1 and 2 because of the overall shittiness of the last 10 or so episodes. But this episode reminded of how self-destructive this hobby can be and of how SAO represents everything that is wrong with not just Japanese nerdery, but nerdery in general.
Fuck man. This is a show that makes I Want To Fuck My Brother look like high art. How is that even possible?
Just... Jesus Christ man... I don't even fucking know.
Aaaaagh, why does this anime have to have colored eyelashes? whatdoidowhatdoido, that's, like, my kryptonite, man.
It can only get better, right? ... right?
No wonder I like JoJo.Dogs: Bullets & Carnage
To celebrate the third awesome show by David Productions in a row (after Inu x Boku and Ben-To)
Yeah. It does. At least imo it does. I enjoyed the original much less compared to others.

Little Busters is looking like it may rival Angel Beats in terms of being unwatchable crap. I guess I should probably stop waiting for another Kanon 2006/Clannad AS-quality show from them.
I'm not sure if I can trust you!
Also, I'm lazy. Which LN volume was the Aincrad side stories?
Really, anyone still watching Sword Art Online deserves exactly what they get.
There's an important difference between the first two shows and the last two...
Yeah. It does. At least imo it does. I enjoyed the original much less compared to others.
And what exactly do we deserve? lol.
See how far you can go for colored eyelashes.
Ah and Star Driver reference?

and there was a Soul Eater one too I think (cosplay)
From The New World 01
Only real complaint is how awful that ending is. Song is fine but damn thats the laziest ending I've seen in a long time. That wasn't like the actual ending for the show was it?
From The New World 01
Wow amazing first episode. Hopefully this show doesn't devolve into stupid painful romance shit. But damn that first episode was great, especially the first 9 minutes or so. The rest of the episode is pretty good too, a nice introduction with a light tone and yet obviously not all that light hearted at all. Can't imagine that peaceful atmosphere is going to last much longer.

Some of the reactions here are amazing.
I'm still enjoying it, but man the next arc is gonna bring out the best in people... XD
Was this their first show? I don't remember it at all.Dogs: Bullets & Carnage
To celebrate the third awesome show by David Productions in a row (after Inu x Boku and Ben-To), I decided to give one of their older works a spin. I'm not sure that was such a great idea in retrospect, as I'm now sad that this four part OVA is basically just an introduction to the manga, and considering it's already a few years old, it doesn't look like I'll get more in animated form. Too bad, as this looks like something that could be quite enjoyable. I already love the characters, and I'm always down for some good shoot outs and brutal beatdowns with a good dose of likable psychopaths, black humor and terrible Engrish. The OVAs were obviously cheap as hell, and it appears most of the budget was spent on the sword fight in episode 3. Which probably wasn't a bad idea. All in all, this wasn't nearly as well put together as David's latest works, but still enjoyable.
That's a random reason to like a show about incest!Aaaaagh, why does this anime have to have colored eyelashes? whatdoidowhatdoido, that's, like, my kryptonite, man.
Just watch 14 to keep your rage strong.I should pick up SAO again as it sounds like it'll scratch my masochistic itch like few other shows can.
I'm only doing what gaming-side has taught me to do!I can understand if Sword Art Online makes you rail against otaku or whatever, but using it to tar an entire country is a bit much.
"Better" in what respect? Ironically? I think the only thing that would make it "better" is if Kirito, with his awesome video game skillz, started his own game company and became the next Miyamoto (presumably creating the game that they supposedly play in Accel World). It can only get better, right? ... right?
Don't do it man. Just forget it even exists.Lol, you lot are making me want to watch SAO now.
You watched the satellite broadcast, I take it? No, that wasn't the real ending; the terrestrial broadcast of the first episode added in the real ED animation and the satellite broadcast started using it in the second episode. You can see it, albeit in a less-than-ideal YouTube video, here; it's one of the best EDs I've seen.
I blame you for buying the man's novels and supporting him. Some of the reactions here are amazing.

What if, and stay with me here, what ifhe suffered from post-logout PTSD, dedicated his life to finding that steel castle again like the SAO badguy, made his own company, and started the cycle anew? Kirito as the final boss is the ending we can all get behind!
I should parlay that into a light novel of my own.
Yeah, but what ever happened to the Persona 4 Naoto novel? What can I say! It's quick and easy entertainment and still better than 75% of the other novels on the shelf. I'd rather read SAO than I want to fuck my brother but there are 12 other girls who want to fuck him too Part 47. Plus, he describes action and the game mechanics quite well.
WHAT IF THIS CYCLE HAS REPEATED ITSELF OVER AND OVER AND THEY ARE STILL TRAPPED IN AN EVEN MORE ELABORATE GAME... THE GAME CALLED "LIFE".
Ahem. lol
We have to go deeper.good god
Oh yeah, that's right. Although I don't know if that's any better or worse than Brother Fucker.
Anime man, anime.
Haha, well, why not.
I wonder who decided to make a moe otaku nerd bait version of a serious airplane porn show though.
OMEGAKOSHI 27
The existance of this show was completely justified by this episode.
I like how despite it's apparently one of the worst written pieces of entertainment, yet people are still watching it.
By all means continue this circle jerk.
It's a trap... it's always a trap. lolMaybe they figured it would be the only way I would buy it. Ended up getting both the series and ova anyway so it wasnt necessary.
I watched all of Lost and Battlestar Galactica and feel like a worse human being for it!Communal aspect goes a long way here.
Yeah, but what ever happened to the Persona 4 Naoto novel?![]()
I'm just selfishly waiting for spoilers on RSG, since I can't be bothered to go find them on the internet. lolSitting on the shelf in front of me. Still haven't completed P4:A yet so I don't wanna jump into the furthest point in the timeline.
Keep in mind, SAO isn't the only thing I'm reading. It's just the flavor of the moment.
New Baccano/Durarara volumes keep me sane.
I watched all of Lost and Battlestar Galactica and feel like a worse human being for it!
And I sat through all of The Newsroom this summer! That's just our way!

Hahaha. I don't even know what to say man. "Enjoy"? lolMeanwhile I'm watching Kannazuki no Miko and have no idea why as apparently it peaks with the first episode.

So everyone likes to watch stuff they "hate" because everyone else is doing it?

I'm curious though, do you read more LNs than you watch anime?
