What direction is this country(the worlds economy) going, that Romney or even Obama has a solution for outside of just local issues?

Its so fucking vague reasoning. The direction that the republicans kicked us in..? The bankers(Mitt's friends..?)

He won't. It's the job of the person he's debating to point out all of the fucking insane shit he's spewed. Obama decide to be "polite". We don't need a nutless, polite, debater. Hopefully he goes after him next week.

I'm not willing to make the sacrifice of being in a situation where I'm not able to get insurance because of my pre-existing condition. Hopefully, there will be enough people out there with an actual conscience voting so that I won't have to be forced to make that sacrifice.

It's peachy, especially since my mom only has coverage because of COBRA, so she'll have a 5 month gap between when she's no longer COBRA eligible and when she becomes Medicare eligible.

I get where you're coming from, but if he gets elected, the majority got what they wanted. If they want someone who will work against their best interests, then that's what they get and I hope they enjoy it (they probably will).

Apparently waivers cant be given out until 2017, and states can decline the waivers, Romney really doesn't have a good plan for repealing this, just hoping for 60 votes in the senate or Democrats suddenly wanting to repeal it
 
Universal healthcare is a human rights issue. No one should die because they can´t afford it. It makes me sad that half of Americans can´t understand that. UH is also better economically on the long run.

Rich people also vote for Republicans cause of the pro business benefits and tax cuts. It's not just cause people are ''ignorant''. People vote for their interests.

Not if Romney and Ryan get their way. It's easy for people to dismiss the consequences when the issue isn't staring them in the face. There are things that I don’t like about this administration, but the alternative just isn't something that I can fathom. Especially considering this issue.
 
the fun thing is that under Obamacare, states CAN craft their own plans, and the federal government will even help them with the upfront costs of setting up and implementing the plans... as long as they meet a minimum standard. If a state thinks it can do better than the insurance exchanges created by the PPACA, it will have the backing of the federal government to put that superior plan into action, and should it work, the federal government would like to get it implemented by other states... which can then continue to reserach improvements over THAT system and test them out.... which can get implemented.... etc.

All Romney is basically saying is he wants everything in Obamacare, except no basic standards of coverage and no quality control/assurance.
 
So guys, I think we should tell people that were affected by lack of healthcare that there's no need for them die.....Better bring a few shovels.
 
I wonder if I can send Mitt Romney a bill for Benicar. Shit's ~$6 per pill, and my BP is more than double what is appropriate. Glad he'll be there when I have a stroke without insurance.
