The Giant Bomb Quick Look Thread 2

They just got a whole bunch of people to subscribe to a premium membership, so I'm pretty sure they're going into overdrive mode making sure that theres content constantly.

Also, there's games coming out again! So I think they just did a bunch of quick looks and have been queuing them up.

According to Brad, the BLLSL also was the catalyst to get the equipment and studio space they desperately needed to get their video production back up and running where they wanted it to be.

It's disappointing that it took something like that just to convince CBSi to invest in equipment so the site they just bought could function at a reasonable capacity but it's done and it seems to have payed off.

lol, man, I finally got around to watching the NIGHTS QL...

This game looks SHOCKINGLY worse than I remember it. I think I only played it once or twice and it blew my mind, for some reason. Nostalgia is a crazy thing, guys.

I am 10 QL's behind. Havn't seen a premium video in like 2 weeks.

They need to stop making new content. They are doing too much work.

Dude i know. I just got caught up for the first time since the Live show, but only because i skimmed through a bunch of stuff.

Drew has incredible posture. Look at him in the last TNT. I'd be hunched over like mad.

I have always noticed this in the office videos. It's badass; i don't know how he does it.

They need to QL Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. They already have Mount and Blade: Warband under their belts so I'm sure they're qualified.

Drew's enthusiasm was so great at the beginning of the video that I was set up for disappointment. Well, not really. Carrier Command looked like it had some interesting ideas, like they mentioned, but I can totally see why the game wouldn't be much fun to play with while all of those bugs keep happening.

edit: Also, Drew's taste in music continues to be agreeable to me.

Oh man. Patrick says the move is clearly the best motion controller as he's playing a first person game... lol. The Wii remote's IR pointer is more precise and doesn't have any drift like the move. IR aiming is always better than gyro aiming. *sigh*

The game still looks fantastic though. I might buy it if I have funds left on my PSN wallet.
Move doesn't use the gyro to aim. It uses a camera. It doesn't have any drift if you calibrate properly, though unfortunately a few games have shit calibration.

The game looks fine
Albeit very generic

But seems like a passable shooter.

Considering the sheer amount of shooters out there, passable shouldn't be good enough.
