CNN is embarrassing.

bending over backwards to never offend the Fox viewers that they may catch... it's all about raings... disgusting attempt to be in the middle, that they take bullshit stances from right side fanatics and give them some sort of credence as having merit.

sad day to see way "journalism" has become

Re-watching the Libya portion and it's awesome watching Romney going off on his "you said act of terror?" bit and Obama just says "please proceed". Yeah, towards your doom.

PPP crosstabs:

* Obama won the debate on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, PBS, NBC. Romney won on C-SPAN, Fox, ABC. Did not realize that C-SPAN was so far right -- 27/73 vs 48/44 for the whole group.
* PBS watchers were the least moved by the debate.
* "Moderates" give the debate to Obama 63-37; they think he understands them better 67-33; it improved their opinion of him 53-25 and hurt their opinion of Romney 47-27. 18% of "moderates" watch Fox News, only 13% MSNBC.
* Obama improved his opinion among men 40-33, women only 41-39. Romney improved his opinion among men 41-37, women 46-33. However women did not change their vote (36-36), men did (38-35 Obama).
* Independents became more likely to vote for Obama, 45-31. 18% of "independents" watch Fox News, 13% MSNBC.
* Obama slightly lost among white people, won hugely among Hispanics and other races. White people -- 40-33 more like to vote for Romney; Hispanics 57-18 for Obama; other races 52-23 for Obama.

Link?

i thought the big bird thing was stupid because it was an attempt by liberals to act like, 'see? see? romney's an idiot! obama totally didn't completely lose that debate! remember big bird?'

the binders thing, now that goes back to just making fun of romney in general for being an out-of-touch weirdo. it's comforting to see it, because it means things are returning to normal.

PBS was a stupid thing to mention on Romney's part. Its like cutting out coffee in the break room. You save a miniscule amount of money but cause larger problems and I think most Americans understand that.

Anyone know how to ignore a user from the mobile webapp?

no idea, but he is a huge troll that you should know to ignore from now on.

on television. Why are you guys not watching PBS?? The only one I dislike is the guy following the Republican camp, he is kinda annoying(he only states that Romney campaign is winning)

I am an Obama supporter but that is an unfair categorization of Romney. Here is the actual quote:

"I recognized that if you're going to have women in the workforce that sometimes you need to be more flexible. My chief of staff, for instance, had two kids that were still in school."

lol, I know he didn't mean that but still.

Romney's tax plan is just getting crazier and crazier. Now he is going to spend 8 trillion dollars, on top of what we are all already spending. And it is going to be revenue neutral, but he isn't going to raise taxes.

He is going to lower taxes on the middle class. The top 2% are going to pay the same percentage of overall taxes. But he is not going to lower taxes on the top 2%, so with the middle class paying less the top 2% will actually be paying a higher percentage. They will pay less and more at the same time. The 8 trillion in new spending will result in a balanced budget because the middle class will get tax cuts and also pay more, and definitely less. It makes sense because HEY WHAT'S THAT! LOOK OVER THERE!

Wait.... so how does that contradict what I said?

"We'll let them go home to make dinner and look after the kids"

is different than

"We provided a flexible schedule for the female staffers that wanted to spend time with their family"

It is all in the tone of your summary (plus, he never said "look after kids", his staffer said "being with them when they get home from school")

So basically now US news TV coverage is overwhelmingly right wing. Fox being a Right Wing propaganda peice and CNN trying so hard to gain their viewers they're slanting right too. Fucking awful. US needs an Ofcom like institute stat. Fox is ruining large portions of the country and media.

Romney's having a tough time swaying my vote as he keeps saying we need someone who leads from in front, not from behind. However, when ever pressed for specifics to his plans all he has is "I'll get together with bipartisans and we'll work it out". I'm baffled how that is leadership. I can't even consider him for my vote until he tells me what he'll fight for. If he continues to tell me nothing is important enough to take a stand or have an opinion on, he's forcing me to vote for Obama. Not that voting for Obama is some sin, it's just frustrating that there isn't even a choice.

Honestly, the only way to attack Obama is from the left. You can't go further right, you'll just look ridiculous like Romney and the rest of the GOP is doing right now. Unfortunately Jill Stein or even Gary Johnson couldn't be up there.

I find it offensive that we the people get lied to but hey.... 4 more years of this tripe in this thread anyways.

We're getting lied to by both sides. However, Obama has laid out, and has 4 years of, his policies and goals. While the recovery isn't what I'd like it to be, I'll take a known recovery of any kind over a Five Point Plan of uncertainty. If he could detail to me his plan specifics other than Fight China, Lower Taxes, blah blah blah... Tell me what the hell is in your plan /showmethereceipts

LIBERAL. MEDIA.

Romney won on C-SPAN, Fox, ABC. Did not realize that C-SPAN was so far right

I apologize for even asking, because I know you're really smart, and maybe you're just joking, but... what? This one instance makes C-SPAN "far right?" You don't honestly mean that, right?

Man I am in some bizarro world with CNN being a right wing media. I have been watching political coverage since 94 and that's the first time I've ever heard that assertion .

This is incredible about CNN's polling, how is it fucking possible for Obama to "win" the debate by 7 percent when he's apparently been slaughtered in EVERY SINGLE SUBCATEGORY?

They liked his performance as a debater better even if they agreed with Romney more.

The rest of the word says Obama was the clear winner.

US news media says its a draw, CNN is a joke I had to change the channel.
