Gaf is the best way to meet people. Forget ABQ, I wanna live near a coast, where it is warm/hot more often than its cold.

Speaking of which, any GAF-er's in the chicagoland area? I'm getting kinda sick of Sai-Kun.

Any of you guys using Pinterest? Is it possible/easy to do Pinterest in a somewhat private or anonymous fashion? I'd like to collect some things on there I like, but don't want it hacking into my Facebook or twitter friends or my real life at all.

Can anyone recommend some good books on LGBT history? Like, not just the civil rights stuff, (though I want that too; Milk, etc.) but also maybe something that takes a look at homosexuality throughout the ages? Like in ancient Rome/Greece, the Middle East, China, and the WW2 era up to modern day?

I haven't read my copy of the "Lavender Scare" yet, but that's a historical bit, I know you don't really want 60's stuff but that was a significant bit of history for homosexuals being prosecuted in the US during the red scare.

That would be interesting, hope someone can recommend some.

Naw, any history is good history! I'm interested in all eras. I'll definitely check out Lavender Scare!

While I only saw the documentary, the book is based on is equally interesting, or so I've read. It's called the celluloid closet, and is about the story of homosexuality deception in film. I guess it's not exactly the kind of history you are looking for but I found it tp be pretty interesting, since it covered the whole century. I thought it was worth mentioning it.

Strangers: Homosexual Love in the Nineteenth Century
looks like an interesting read. I haven't read it but I've read another book by the author, The Discovery of France. He's a great writer.

Power has been out since Monday here in my area of NY. No Halloween for me T__T. Dressed up as a guy trying to keep his buns warm :(

I'm in bed with a cold :/

Asian horror movies marathon it is :D

no horror games? fatal frame, silent hill, resident evil, etc.

I am feeling like replaying SH: shattered memories today but don't know, I remember it dragging the whole time, being a bit too slow for my liking...it had a nice atmosphere but little going on in the actual game... hhm..

I hate texting people only for them to never respond.

Except when I'm like "I hope you're having a great day!" or something. Then they respond almost immediately. UGH
