spoiled Halo 4 on GAF and now AC3 is spoiled in TNT. today has been full of shit.
I am extremely fucking pissed at ryan and the chat for this ac3 spoiling.

I literally turn on the stream to see whats going on and 2 minutes later i get the massive spoil and im like what the fuck?

Yeah and I got yelled at for calling them out on it. Fantastic.
That's because the majority of the GB community are um.. Let's just say "reddit" level users. As for Ryan? Super fucking disappointed. Not only was it extremely unprofessional it was just a super dick move.

This made me want to play Burnout 3 so I looked it up and its backwards compatible on the 360!

Playing it right now and it still is really fun

i only caught a glimps of people yelling SPOILERS in chat. didn't wanna pay attention to it so i closed it. but i sorta have a feeling i know what Ryan is talking about. anyway, it's been a dark day

I just wanted some open world racing action and "Buddy" jokes tonight. Couldn't grab AC3 this week cause of Hurricane Sandy. Oh well, not too disappointed but I hope other people aren't spoiled.

Not watching it then. Is he even spoiling it accidentally like Brad does or is it intentional?
dropped the bomb like it was nothing and didn't even acknowledge how wrong it was to say it and then the chat just exploded with AC3 spoilers. Its fucked up considering a lot of us just dropped $65 on it and aren't finished with the game.

Same here man.

I saw they were doing NFS live and wanted to see how the online was and 2 minutes later i get a game completely ruined.

If the spoiler being discussed is the one I'm guessing it is then it's really obvious after you finish the second sequence, anyhow. Not that it justifies ruining surprises for people who haven't played yet, though.

The ending of the game was spoiled.

The way Jeff and Patrick reacted felt like they knew it was uncool, but didn't want to bring extra attention to the fuck up.

Ryan needs to be way more mindful of this shit. Just because some guy in chat asks him his thoughts, that doesn't give him a greenlight to go wild.

Anyway, as if people needed more reason to completely ignore TNT's...

I haven't played AC3 yet (waiting for the Wii U version), and I don't care at all. I'd rather have interesting discussion than the typical generalities we hear on gaming podcasts. I can handle spoilers, I'm not worried about knowing specific story details in entertainment products.

In short: "Getting over it" in regards to the spoilers-phobia-hysterics would do the internet some good.

Assuming everyone thinks the same as yourself would do the internet some good too?

WTF, that is fucked up. hopefully it's just one thing cuz VLR has a ton of revelations.

I read a couple words, saw it mention
Junpei being bitter or something
and I assumed that meant that character was Zero. Which would have been a goddamn amazing mind fuck. Argh.

The game has been out for 3 days and we paid $65 to fully enjoy it. I think it's ok to be pissed at an open spoiler talk without ANY kind of warning.

Getting over it? sure, but you don't have to be an asshole and completely spoil a game live without any kind of warning.

I agree with you, but you need to give people some sort of warning in case they want to play the game spoiler free. AC3 was released two days ago.

i will say you have NOT been spoiled. lucky.

indeed, AC3 is a big game too. no one would be done by now unless they're a reviewer or they got it early somehow.

Yes, regularly reading page after page of worrying about something I find pretty much irrelevant is tiring. Not taking entertainment so seriously probably wouldn't be the worst thing to happen to the internet public in general.

You will still have a great experience with a game, movie or book, even knowing some plot specifics. You'll be able to appreciate some foreshadowing instead. And I'd rather not see interesting discussion in podcasts or videos strangled in the name of not offending people being over-sensitive about their "sanctity of experience".

Good for you. The majority of the rest of us do not feel the same way.

You know I agree with you to some extend (I hate being spoiled fo story stuff), but that does not mean all other people will or should.

Why are they playing this

Who knows, game looks really not fun to me.

Book of Eli and Sixth Sense would have been nowhere near as enjoyable going in if I was aware of the big twist.

The Vlr save bug is terrible lost 18 hr of progress. Eather will watch the rest on YouTube or muster up the will to replay it.

Patrick and others who might play it. Don't save in a puzzle room ever. I mean ever. It will eat your save.

Yeah. I generally don't care about being spoiled myself cause I know I can still find enjoyment out of a game/movie/book etc but I find it unfortunate if others are spoiled.

Hell, this scares me a bit as, for once, I'm trying to be completely spoiler free for Bioshock Infinite. I haven't seen or read ANYTHING about it to try to go in clean.

save bug only for 3DS. Vita is safe.

If you were aware of the big twist you would have been able to appreciated other elements - subtle hints at the reality of the situation, the quality of the writing.

The surprise of the "twist" shouldn't be the only element a quality entertainment product is hinged on.
