Looks like Jojo got himself into a hairy situation this week. Dio is still fabulously evil, and he even took some time out of his busy evil schedule to give us a history lesson. Too bad there wasn't enough budget to animate much of the lesson! Lol. From this episode onward, I think the rest of Phantom Blood is going to feel a lot like a crazy series of fantasy WWE matches. Thankfully, it should all be over relatively soon, and we'll move on to Battle Tendency!

Overall, I really liked the action this episode and I just realized how dramatic the narrator makes things seem as well as how the characters saying what they are thinking and at times what Im thinking can make it way more fun than the action does it. Action wise, Im impressed by how many different overdrivers there are, so many colors I hope.
Didnt like a few parts, Zoom Punch felt like something out of Toriko just way less toned down and unimpressive and Naruto did the walking on water jutsu way better, it looked way too comical here especially how Zeppeli crossed and how unrefined JoJo was at it. Im not much one to pay attention to history so I ended up losing focus at that part and was bored.

A bit off topic, but the anime got me reading the Manga, I'm at Part 5 now and this is the first part that doesn't have me as interested ): What about Part 6 and 7, I heard Part 8 is pretty cool.

I wouldn't worry about that. With the pace they're going, part 2 is going to have at least like 15 episodes.
Yeah but if Battle Tendency has 15 Episodes that means we get about 2 Episodes per volume and they are doing the same thing with Phantom Blood. About 3 (or even 4) Episode per volume would be cool for Battle Tendency because it's that good.

That was intentional wasn't it.
I think based on the pace it's looking really likely that Battle Tendency will start by episode 9, which will give it 18 episodes.
I don't know what you're talking about. I just think that it's looking like quite a knightmare for Jojo and friends right now...

Not the best episode so far, but still damn good. Zepelli is awesome and I'm glad they didn't do an entire episode focused on the ripple stuff. I'm kind of shocked they showed Jack coming out of the horse corpse, so that's cool. OVERDRIIIIVE

It'd make sense to me if the first verse really was made with Jonathan and Dio in mind, but checking the lyrics, they sound kinda "generic" tbh. As in, not specifically for a certain character.
Yeah, the entire song feels like it refers to part 1.
They're either going to keep it anyways for part 2, or we're getting another opening soon.
We've almost definitely got a new ED coming, ep 5 changed from the first verse of Roundabout to the last refrain.

What plot hole was that? I really don't remember anything.
My guess is zero, since the show can be watched at any time, while sporting games are normally watched live.
