Video: Bronies (grown men) invade little girls' section of Toys R Us

Sucks for that person who had to warm up 100 apple pies. I bet they'd be furious to find out it went to surrounding a stuffed animal.

As someone who worked at Mickey D's as a kid in 2008 and made about 10000000 burgers, I'll tell you we don't give a damn what people do with the food. They could literally smash their face into it and walk out and we'd barely notice. We're busy:

1. Counting down the seconds 'til quitting time
2. Trying to flirt with the fry girl
3. Checking facebook/complaining on Facebook/checking the fry girl's facebook for single status

So did you ever get with the fry girl?

Honestly, I watched the first three episodes and just disliked them. The "characterization" is the same damn stereotypes from always, as in, the nerd, the shy girl, the posh, the crazy, the competitive tomboy and the hard working tomboy. That said, as someone who was forced to watch girl cartoons when younger, it definitely seemed better. I'd even understand a grown male fanbase, but not the obsession some people have for it.

However, there seems to be a high percentage of bronies who want to fulfill every bad nerd stereotype ever, who are by far the most vocal. Anecdotal and stuff I know but it seems like the craziest online people I've talked to are bronies.

Of course I'm not saying MLP is a show meant for those people, but it very obviously has a great pull with them, and the Internet being the Internet it can't tell apart those with an obsession for the show and those who just like it,

This is fucking great.

But wait how do you know

Everyone knew, haha, a few days before school started one of my coworkers was like "Yo man, didn't you like Alyssa? She totally got caught blowing Randy the other day, I guess he convinced her to quit to save his job."

He was kind of a skeezball, he had a Porsche yet worked as a McDonald's manager, so everyone knew he totally was unable to afford it, but hey, it impressed 16 year old girls.

And that was the end of that story. HIGH SCHOOL DRAMAAAAAAA

Holy shit xD

good stuff man, good stuff.

They get paid to work, not to care.
I was hired to heed, not to feed.

And people still say this isn't any worse than other fanbases?

it isn't. parts of the sonic fan base is at least just as bad as this....

Fortunately there is a very hard line between the two groups of sonic fans, usually it falls with those that are older and played the classic series more and the younger fans that were introduced at sonic adventure onwards (at least that's how i see it)

That's creepier than all else in this thread.

This is literally the worst

Holy crap, how delusional can you be

Actually, even ignoring the MLP crap this is by far the worst presentation I have ever seen

i liked that it didnt even fit on the screen.

i also liked his suit and bow tie though.

gotta be fancy for hydrogen.

Man, have you never worked in the restaurant industry? Half the staff is doing their underlings. It's not a pretty world.

I knew some people that worked at the Chuck E Cheese's over here. Lemme tell you...it's probably the sleaziest place in this town.

lol

Edit: Props to him though for having a tailored jacket. Unless it's actually too small for him.

tell a hardcore sonic fan that you like the sonic with green eyes.

see what happens.

I would not automatically form a negative appraisal of a "Brony", but I would certainly consider it a sign of something potentially unhealthy about a person.

Saying "People Like what they Like" is not a catch all or airtight defense. There are many negative reasons for people to be so heavily invested into fandoms like the furry thing and this Pony deal.

I honestly cannot think of a reason why a grown, intelligent man would be so in love with a simplistic, derivative, poorly animated cartoon intended for very young girls. Really, I can't see someone over 12 thinking the show offered anything of substance, and for ages below that it seems a serviceable diversion at best.

The social outcast factor seems to run quite high with these groups, so perhaps it is merely being drawn to something that they know will bring in people of similar situations/backgrounds/personality? Allowing them to interact with people who are likely "safe"?

Thats how it is at most jobs lol.

So, Mad Men is actually a documentary? That explains a lot.

So it's not mayo on my Hamburger?

I never want to eat McD's again after working there.

Also, this ponybro video was in the links from the previous:

Good way to run for office.

I don't agree with that at all. And having your own sense of enjoyment disparaged in that fashion is kind of... annoying.

I mean, have you seen shit children's TV? There's a fucking lot of shit children's TV out there.

I am not, as they say, full-on brony. But it's harmless enough.

-Over the top and unmatching clothes
-His text is full sentences at size 8 font crammed onto the left side (cut off by the screen)
-Wrong information (hydrogen is not a noble gas, a nuclear explosion is not combustion, hydrogen fires don't look like fireworks, hydrogen doesn't follow the octet rule)
-He ends his presentation with "there are other more interesting elements, go learn about those"
-Clearly he didn't practice
-Who the hell says "yadda yadda yadda" in their own presentation?
-He was a dick before/during/after his presentation
