My best guess is that it'll be archived on the site for premium members, and everyone else can watch it on the twitch channel archives.
 
Jeff said there'll be a regular archive up for everyone. Just like the vita live stream. console launch stuff is not stuff to put behind a subscriber wall.
 
I caught only bits and pieces live on Sunday, but my god...

How did EA/Bioware release such a shoddy port of Mass Effect 3 on a new console? The overlapping dialogue during the comic is disgusting. Did they not test it at all? The very first time I made a program using audio, I made this same mistake, but I learned from it; my Persona 4 weather app doesn't overlap songs or anything dumb. This is just pathetic and they should be ashamed of themselves. And, the framerate. Christ.

The less said about Epic Mickey 2, the better. I don't think I've seen a game this generation (since the Wii U is basically the generation of Xbox 360 and PS3) with that bad of a framerate.

Rabbids looks like an incredibly boring cash-in.

The downloadable titles are overpriced.

NSMB U looks the same as the original NEW DS game from years ago, and it is still slow, with strange inertia and a crappy jump.

I really can't believe this is the new Nintendo system for the next 5-ish years. As a fan and a stockholder, I'm aghast and appalled, interchangeably.
 
Ha. I've had my Persona 4 weather app nearly done for months (I should probably bug test it more), but I'm fearful of trying to put it on the App Store since it uses copyrighted images and music. If you want to know what it is, it consists of a screen with Teddy telling you a bear pun as he fetches the weather, and then he gives you the forecast. If you then tap the screen, it goes into a different visual mode where it gives you a five day forecast using the icons form the game. Maybe I'll finally try getting it through the app store (or I'll just cave and post images in the non-Quick Look thread).
 
ME3's overlapping dialogue seemed to be entirely because they were skipping through all of it. I don't think their look at the game showed anything questionable about the port except some of the art during the comic.

So I started watching the WiiU quick looks.... someone PLEASE post the Tekken Tag 2 song that was playing during the Tekken Ball part. I almost cried with laughter when it started!

Oh wow, maybe that means they will finally do the quicklooks at 60fps. They did some tests a while ago with the Rage Quicklook and it looked incredible. We never heard anything about 60fps after that.

I asked them on formspring/tumblr multiple times afterward but never got an answer.

60 fps would be great to have on the site (especially for pc games) since it's something that is really not common (except for Blimblim's site) so it would help GB to have another big unique thing over the other sites.

I think I remember 60fps causing quite an issue on the support forum, which probably stopped them experimenting any further with it. Hopefully it was just a Flash plug-in issue that sorted itself out over time.
 
I'm sorry for being gross, but wouldn't a Hitman-style strangulation with a piano string result in the dude's neck or throat being cut wide open? He sure seems to put a lot of force into it.

That's rad dude.

Are you sure it'd be an issue if you put it up for free? I'm no expert of course but I always thought as long as you didn't make money or use someone elses material inappropriately then it was fair game. And hey, worst case is they reject it. Would certainly be a cool thing to have.
 
I thought they were going to change the UI and Sound effects? Game still has really bad presentation IMO. Everything about it just looks bleh.

People in the Beta thread seemed to enjoy it though.
