The Orange Bowl has to take the ACC champion (FSU/GT), and if FSU loses that they probably won't be in the top 15.



Yeah, but I don't think they're up for the BCS berth, weird the BEAST's tiebreaker rules are. Kent State has a slim chance of sneaking in too, I guess.

So does Boise State if they win next week and their co-champ status qualifies them.

We'll have to see how the standings shake out this week first. I don't know now much Kent and Boise will go up, but they should both jump Rutgers and Louisville, as well as OKST so I'm guessing at least 3 spots.

Biggest thing about ND is IMO they've yet to face a team with a D even remotely as good as their own. They'll face that when they play either Bama or UGA. Running against USC won't be remotely the same as when they go up against the SEC Champ.

That being said UGA at the very least has yet to face a D as good as ND. The one D that might be close is the one game UGA lost against Clowny and company at USC. Bama faced LSU who always has a good D. There main loss was to a team with a special QB who just out scored them in A&M. That's not exactly ND MO either.

At anyrate I think ND's D is the real deal, and should match up okay against the SEC Champ. They'll be good against the run, and decent against the pass with problems on the #1 receiver much like tonight. I just don't see how they score enough points to win.

i mean we needed a good season to build off of. i wouldn't call a possible two loss season, winning the conference championship(first time since 2005), and orange bowl win a season of "sucking" anymore than the Gators only going to the sugar bowl and not winning their own division

What has Te'o done to deserve the Heisman? He's put up lesser stats than a number of other line backers, he hasn't really had a single signature moment all season, and he's generally disappeared for long stretches of games.
