Holy shit at that intro.
I can't stop laughing.
Didn't you watch the QL. Jeff says they address it.So... far cry 3.
Do they ever explain... how dude becomes super murder machine? Is it cuz of the tatoo or is there some training arc?
Can anyone tell me what minute to start watching from if I want to avoid all major plot points, including the intro? Cheers

there's light mission spoilers towards the end but nothing major.
I think the Far Cry 3 quick look sold me on the game.
Yeah, it's straight outta Tron Legacy basically.Vinny pretty much took the words out of my mouth. "This music is like, we're gonna open the galaxy map pretty soon." or something.

I thought he said they don't... really. (some army brother or something). But jeff is only half way through.

Just know, it takes a hell of a computer to run FC3 like that.Yep I need to get on with building a gaming PC for the living room.
Hahaha, those are the benchmarks for the game with no AA?Just know, it takes a hell of a computer to run FC3 like that.

Man, I'm sold on Far Cry from the Quick Look. I wasn't even remotely interested before. This hasn't happened since LA Noire and Red Dead Redemption.
"Right in the booty!"- Vinny
God, I love Vinny.
I have an HD 7970 and those are abysmal frame rates. Bad optimization? Either way, I'll wait (for a better card, I guess).Just know, it takes a hell of a computer to run FC3 like that.

What are you sporting, sir?The specs in the video description are i7-2600k, 670, 16 gigs of RAM. Not especially high end, even if he's overclocking it.

That's not top end but most certainly, very high end.
That particular benchmark is mislabeled. I think that was the 4x MSAA benchmark. I'll check.
Also, the game is not nearly as demanding when you disable DX11 features. It's actually a good sign when a new game taxes existing high-end hardware, as long as, it scales well by disabling bells and whistles.
Edit:
Yes, that image is for 4x MSAA and Alpha to Coverage anti-aliasing enabled.

Very demanding either way with DX11 features enabled.
