Can you sign up for PS+ from the PC or must I do it through the PS3/Vita?

You could buy a code card (and activate via SonyEntertainmentNetwork.com), but you might as well do it through your Vita/PS3 since that's the only way to download PS+ content.

Isn´t R* working on a Vita exclusive? Maybe 2? I have read this like last year, i´m not sure though.

The gyro aiming? The climbing trace a path? The zooming for sniper and camera?
A lot of studios were "working" on Vita titles as of this time last year. Things change.
In my opinion most of them were very good, only cleaning everything and charcoal rubbings were a bit unnecessary.

Change your address to somewhere in the US and it will work perfectly. I am thousands of miles away from US and buy them every month.

Do you use a US PSN account? Those cards are region sensitive.

Even trying to select continue game from the start screen requires the use of the touch screen in the most awkward way. Swipe across and then touch. Why cant I use the D-Pad?

Pretty sure we'll get some smaller, non retail games for december. We still have UC and GR as retail games and the EU is getting Knytt and Big Sky as + goodies.
I bet we'll se at least one of those two in the US as well.

I nearly keeled over this morning when I saw an actual, honest-to-goodness Christmas Vita advert at a local bus stop. I guess Sony Ireland rustled up some ad money for it somewhere.
It was basically headed with 'Peace on Earth?' at the top with a picture of Vita and some games underneath, and then 'Man, just get me a Playstation Vita'.
(In before jokes about both peace on earth and vita being equally unlikely to succeed...)

The offer shows up as its own item on the store and when you purchase it it's removed so you can't add another year.
Yep, those ads are everywhere here in Dublin. Vita has also started to be really heavily advertised on YouTube, as well

Feeling Wipeout a lot more on handheld than console. PSASBR is surprisingly fun and the crossplay really helps keep the community a lot more active than it otherwise would be. Even though I still have some great games untouched, my first game purchase will likely be Unit 13. Had my eye on that game since it released and I can't wait to try the first true shooter experience on a handheld.
Not really my sort of game but looks pretty decent actually. Also, love the integration of the cards into Uncharted GA.

Vita is in a very unenviable position. The device is selling poorly because the games that would make people buy it aren't there, and the games that would make people buy the device aren't being made because the device is selling poorly. The worst thing about it is that the platform doesn't deserve the hand it has been dealt. Yes, the memory cards are grossly over priced, the memory card fumbling for different accounts is completely daft, the near reliance to own a PS3 to get the full usage of the device is insulting, and the fact that Sony allowed something like Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified to ship at $49.99 is a farce. But with all those faults it still remains the most capable handheld gaming hardware that has ever been made.
