Lately, we have been hearing rumors about several Capcom Fighting games, so I decided to gathering the informations and put it in one thread for everyone to read. It seem that Capcom to have a very busy year ahead of us.

We are getting new balance patch that would "overhaul" the game itself, and supposedly patch would release during mid-Dec 2012.

It's possible that we might get balance patch again, but it's up to Ono and Capcom to decide if we will receive the balance patch. That's if people are making a lot of noise for one.

We already know that Ono really want to make new Darkstalker game, so it should happens next year or so. They said that it would depend on how well "Darkstalker Resurrection" would sell.

Here we go again! Lupinko replied to this post on GAF earlier:
"Even if they wanted to touch Marvel, which they don't, they couldn't as they no longer hold the Marvel licence. It'd be in their best interest to makeI something similar to Capcom Fighting Jam that takes the UMvsC3 engine and replaces the marvel side with Capcom characters (which is rumored to be happening right now)."

One weird thing about new MVC3 rumor is that it reminded me of a rumor that I heard awhile ago. I didn't bother to brought it up here because I assumed that it was fake. However, it was different game but it had simliar informations. Supposedly we are getting marvel super heroes 2, including all marvel characters from UMVC3 and 20ish new characters. That's why they were pushing Marvel Vs. Capcom Origins. Yeah, all of you should take it with grain of salts. Well, my friend said that he have source but at same time, I'm not sure how reliable his source can be.

New Update/Expansion for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Ultimate

Nitsuma is working on one last roster update to Marvel 3.
It should arrive Q4 2013 - Q1 2014.
Only reason its not coming sooner is because of competition with
other Marvel properties already released.
Good news is the roster will get atleast 20 characters thanks to the
longer deadline.
Bad news is people still arent getting who they want on Marvel side lol
That agenda and promotional work. It'll still be diverse which is great.

Yeah, that marvel rumor can't really work. In the long list of developers and publishers looking for the marvel/avengers licence, Capcom ain't one of them. Remember, we have 3 marvel Comics movies coming out next year and they're all gonna get games.

Capcom just lost Tatsunoko license, so we wouldn't expect any port or sequel anytime soon.
