The problem is that the game is not consistent at all in that regard. Some characters do look pretty close to what you would see in a comic book (although more of a graphic novel than tradtional comic)
Isn't the market for fighters already over saturated, especially because the most popular games seem to stick around for a while? Is Capcom really going to release another 2 or 3 2D fighting game IPs in the next few years?

Can't really see why not, I mean really with regards to Mahvel and StreetFighter (x Tekken ) the assets are already created. I wouldn't believe that it cost capcom more money to make Super or AE ( or Ultimate MVC for the matter ) then it was to create the original titles.
I think the look for street fighter and any of the versus games is pretty much established for this gen. If they make an all stars capcom game I would bet that it looks and plays like UMVC3.
TBH when people talk about how bad UMVC3 sold, I wonder if capcom looks at it the same way, they sold us the same game twice.
At first I hear "Capcom All Stars" and think it would be a diluted, uninspired mess, but then I think that it's my only shot to get a fighting game with Asura.
