Steam sales should start around the 20th, there's a good chance the game will be 50~75% off at some point of the sale.

I'd never heard of it untl about 5 minutes ago, their prices seem great though. Any way of getting discounts? How often do they run discounts?

TheHut Group consists of webstores like TheHut, Zavvi and Sendit so if you're familiar with Zavvi, it's similar to them - all the way to the bad customer service. Despite having one issue of product not actually being in stock, they're fine in my book.
 
Need for speed most wanted £25 360/PS3 £20 Vita

Game daily deal. Hoping that assassins creed liberation or Far cry 3 end up getting price drops on one of these!

GameStop also have an advent calendar sale too but it doesn't go up 10am. Yesterday they had Homefront for £10 360/PS3. Which would be an alright price if it weren't for the fact that I bought it brand new from them for £5 about 4 months after release haha…

Give them an email. They'll at least let you know whether they can get it in or not. Also, unfortunately sometimes they list stuff with the wrong spelling (Time Travelers is Tlime Travelers for example - I couldn't find it for weeks :/) so it could be that.

My only issue with them are the long dispatch and delivery times.
 
What's with the seemingly low preorder numbers The Hut/Zavvi seems to be holding nowadays?

How can Paper Mario Sticker Star be "sold out" on their site? (releases in 2 days)
Metal Gear Solid 4 25th Anniversary (releases tomorrow)? Sold out!

Or is this just as it always been, only now they're actually putting it truthfully on their site?

I preordered Darksiders 2 Wii U in October and they didn't ship it so far.

DS2 (WiiU) is not even listed on their site anymore. So basically they decided they won't sell more copies of some games than to just a few happy campers who preordered it?

Or are they in some sort of financial trouble, only it didn't make the news yet?

Eh. I would have only bought it for the coins and they were long gone. Saving my money for other things. Was quite fun watching it go down in price though.

why are wiimotes so damn expensive? Was thinking I'd be able to pick up 2-3 wii remote plus for maybe £20 each with the wii being so dead, but they're all up above £30.

Best so far is zavvi/play at around £32 (£29 after my secret santa 10% off voucher). But thats still £90 for three wiimotes.

You can get fling smash which comes with a Wii motion plus mote for £30 on shopto. Other than that, your not going to get many cheap prices new
 
People try Blockbuster (instore), I picked up a brand new copy of Fling Smash for £18.98, they're selling off a lot of their big boxed games that are sat around.

Also £36 seems to be best price for NSMBU at the moment yeah! Grabbed it myself, still yet to play, too busy working :(
 
There isn't anywhere that tracks Amazon tradein prices is there? Selling Catherine for £17 would be nice as I didn't buy it for much more than that, but it was 15 yesterday.

Ordered 4 items in the last few days. Everything was dispatched. Even Ghost Recon: Future Soldier although I canceled, ordered again using a voucher and that time it said "10 days till dispatch". And I ordered that one yesterday. It seems someone went into turbo mode.

I´m still waiting for my Zavvi Dark Souls PtD order to dispatch. Ordered Nov 18. Also just got another "sorry for the continued delay" mail. Oh well, I wasn´t really anxious to get this one anyways.
 
I kid you not, I decided to check the Pandora's Tower price this morning remembering it had been going down and thought: "This looks good, I'll place an order tonight". Well looks that won't happen. Fine Amazon, you keep wasting that space in your fulfillment centre...I'll just have a Euro>UK visitor plug* under the tree...

But given how these prices are semi-automated I wonder if space in fulfilment centre is something to do with it like if space low then lower prices of large items by x points per day else reset price.

Anyway, any of you guys use Gamestop. Pre-owned limited/collector's editions seem to be a bit of a gamble. As does boxes for games (adopting the American approach there).

*-I bought a AA battery charger form the Amazon.de Cyber Monday deals as I wanted to know the capacity of my batteries (they've been acting odd lately, though thats probably charge depression due to never using discharge). Which I could work out with mathematics anyway...(full discharged battery, time it takes to fully charge and rate it charged at, well okay my also German but with 4 plugs fast charging seems to have a variable rate).

Well DS2 Wii U is strange it appears from time to time with shipping dates in February (!?). I order Warriors Orochi Wii U and it got shipped within 24h. Strange ...
