As far as I can remember, even with all the preambles of "you're entering a spoiler zone" with the GOTY podcasts, they generally preface most of their discussions with a smooth segue to prepare you for spoilers, so you can skip ahead.

I'm only really worried about the Walking Dead. I only finished the 1st episode and it's the only game I'd be upset about if I was spoiled.

wtf are you doing? just take a weekend off and finish it all.

for anyone new, they WILL spoil any games they talk about it.

If steam didn't stop crahsing then I would be done by now and I don't want to replay the same sequence 3 times over.

Are people really that concerned about Walking Dead spoilers? Spoiler Alert: Its a WALKING DEAD game, so obviously they find a cure and everything is okay :P

Also, Asura's Wrath Spoiler: HE GETS MAD!!

I have sometime off in 2 weeks. I was planning on finishing it then but I'll probably get an episode or 2 in before then.
It's pretty easy to finish each episode in a sitting, so as long as you give yourself between 2/3 hours at any point, you'll crank through them just fine.

edit:
This is part of why I still haven't even listened to last year's podcast.
Came back to the podcast in july when I finished Catherine, and it was basically the stuff I had already figured would be going on in the story. Was kind of bummed I skipped all the catherine talks in the podcast after that, haha.

Hmmmmm... I guess I really do have the time. I was just catching up on other backlog games. I'm actually finally playing Saints Row the Third. I can put that a side for while I pound out the Walking Dead. I'm a little afraid of the save bug I've heard about though. Is there something I should before starting Episode 2 to avoid it?

I had the same fear prior to starting episode 2. It appears that it has been patched [I am assuming you are playing on the PC] as I did not run into any problems thus far playing from episodes 1 - 3.

According to twitter it seems like the giantbombers are making their GOTY lists right now. Our cheerleading is more important than ever

I pray TNT tonight is Far Cry 3 co-op!

Edit: I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I've been beaten in the sixteen minutes it took me to make this absolutely pointless image.

I don't know what it is, and I thought the FC3 co-op would be more like Dead Island (guess I was wrong).

Yay! Sorry people who don't want this, just don't watch.

If it was them playing co-op I'd be super excited. Them playing with randoms is boring as shit and serves as nothing more than background noise.

I wonder how many people watch TNTs, its obviously popular if they keep doing it (unless its not and they just do it out of habit or something)

To me, definitely the least interesting content on giantbomb

I don't think I've watched a TNT in well over 2-3 months now. I'm sorry, but I can easily find a better way to spend 1.5 hours than simultaneously watch people play two different video games that I don't give a shit about. Fucking just record another 1.5 hours podcast or something, audio content is way easier to consume than video any way.

Are you playing on the PC? I would just keep backing up my saves from the My Documents folder.
If you have the bug where it isn't keeping your choices, I can help you out with that, since I fought it every single episode.

TNT should have been a backlog extravaganza

Jeff plays asura's wrath
PAtrick plays binary domain
Brad plays syndicate
THIS IS A GREAT IDEA

So, like RPCG, but with console games and every week? That sounds dangerously like an endurance run.

Anyway, TNTs formatting feels aimless and the conversations don't go anywhere. I agree it's their weakest feature but, who knows, maybe they want to fix it rather than replace it. It's unique in that it involves more of the crew and attempts at some community interaction. It doesn't do it very well, but maybe it's something they should keep trying at.

TNT absolutely should have been them messing around with Ryan's new Famicom games. All the best live stuff they've done has been them playing with old games and this was as good an excuse as any. Bummer!

They could have done something cooler with the TNT time slot.

Totally. Do a random PC game instead everyThursday. I could live with it even if it wasn't always with Dave. He'll do a regular retro stream. Basically everything is better than TNT. The only time I enjoyed TNT was when they played Fortune Street. Playing with random Internet people is not interesting to watch at all.
