Also I don't really see that comic being spoilery in any way.

Is that guy referring to thetheory? Hasn't that been denied by Bioware?indoctrination

It kind of spoils the nature of the ending, although perharps not more than that. I think it's way more fun to go into the ending without any expectations except what the game gave you personally and I wouldn't want to rob anyone of that possibility. If this were 2024, then sure.
Maybe, but you still have to wonder what the hell they were thinking.Meh, reader interpretation takes priority

In the context of the original endings, indoctrination theory still makes the most sense.
If this was some Marsellus Wallace briefcase shit where the creator actively encourages speculation, then yeah. But if the creators say no, further discussion is very much just grasping at straws IMO.Meh, reader interpretation takes priority
In bet Brad isn't as down on it as we'd like to hope. We'll hear a lot about how Leviathan justified it.

Now I really want to know what is in Leviathan that makes the ending a little better. I will get From Ashes and Leviathan when they're on sale at some point I guess, but I just can't imagine.

Uh oh, his latest tweet makes me think he might actually not hate as much as we thought
Does Leviathan really fix anything with the ending?
Doesn't it just say where the dumb space-brat came from?

Man, I canNOT imagine playing through that game without From Ashes and Leviathan. Wouldn't even want to.

The indoctrination stuff is nonsense. Gosh come on

From what I recall didn't Tarantino say it didn't really matter what was actually in the briefcase?
If you start discarding authorial intent just because you don't like the outcome of something, you may as well start making up parts of the story in your head and call it canon.Authorial intent doesn't necessarily have to matter at all.
Just Youtube the ending of Leviathan; there's a crazy info dump that provides crazy fiction backstory and ties in to the events running up directly to the ending if you know what I mean. It's fucking insane it was DLC. It's super interesting, but coming out post-release and as paid DLC is a slap in the face.
The worst part about the indoctrination theory is that it gives Bioware way too much credit, which they absolutely don't deserve. It never made sense.
Oh God: (spoilers)

It's early 2012 all over again.
You can make it make sense, but aside from that if they had actually intentionally leaned into that it would have at least made the end-game super interesting. Better than what we got at least.

I wonder if he's watched the two other endings yet.
