Watched Season 1. Still have not made it through a single episode of Season 2. This is counting from the first day it was aired on TV. Recorded it. Still have it. Finally deleted it when it popped up on Netflix, Hulu, etc. Still have not been able to get through it. I hear the show is good and it had a decent ending...? If I remember.
Come on man, you need to see it all.
You still have a lot of great stuff to watch. Part of S2, more than half of S3 and S4 are golden. S5 is decent and S6 was huge disappointment, but you'll want to see it anyway.

Terrible characters or no, the episode itself had little to no impact on the overall story. The only thing that changed (other than Nikki and Paolo being buried alive) was that now Sun knew Charlie and Sawyer did the attempted kidnapping. That's weak as fuck.
It was a lame episode to kill off characters for no apparent reason that I can find other than the fans. If you're going to pander, at least have it impact or be poignant or something like that. So bad, so very very bad.
creating nikki and paolo was pandering in the first place though. fans wanted to see more losties than the ones we were shown, so they came up with nikki and paolo (among others). And then people reversed when nikki and paolo were bad, so they had no choice but to kill them off. or get rid of them somehow.
I think Expose is a fun episode. It's not good, but it's a nice break. has a great ending. Hate's undeserved, I think. I can't think of anything it does terribly wrong.

Well, it did confirm that the writers had no fucking clue as to what was going with all that stuff with Ben, Michael, the list, etc over the last couple of years. That's something!
By ignoring them again, like they had done for the most part of the show?
"Nah, let's kill them off in some horrible, mocking fashion."

Anyone interested in a LOST power hour. I made it this last summer, good time for drinks and friends.

Just started watching it on Amazon instant video, it's pretty good so far. Apparently they stopped selling the box set of the bluray though? That's kind of lame. :/

Just watched the end of season 1, this show is crazy. I get the feeling the way the show ends won't be able to live up to the hype. Guess I'll find out eventually though.

Just finished watching the series about a week ago, and I really enjoyed it. Definitely spent more time than I would have liked in front of my TV over the span of about two and a half weeks because I just couldn't bring myself to stop watching some nights. I know there are a lot of criticisms over how the show ended, but I thoroughly enjoyed the entire series and I'm glad I decided to give it a shot. I'm sure it's a lot different for people who invested 6 six years into the show and had so much time to discuss everything that was going on in between episodes and seasons rather than seeing the whole thing in its entirety in less than 3 weeks. Regardless, I really enjoyed the show and will probably go back to some of my favorite episodes before my month free Netflix subscription is up.

It's because of person of interest. I've come to like michael emerson a lot and so I started watching to see how he is in this show since I heard he was awesome on lost too. I know he doesn't come until later but I was willing to watch until then but so far the story has been exceptionally good so that's been a pleasant surprise. I would have toughed it out until he was on the show but I'm glad it's really entertaining until he does.
I'm starting season 2 as we speak.
And I heard the ending sucked from random people and an interview with the guy who plays jin on lost after he got his job on hawaii five-o. He said people would come up to him constantly asking how lost was going to end and he said now they just come and say "wow, that ending sucked" and that's it. :lol

On the original run, we only made it to about half way through season 2 and stopped watching it for I forget what reason.
We watch one episode a night and we are up to last episode of season 1.
Enjoying it very much.
Some how we have both avoided major spoilers too so it is all fresh.
Looking forward to the next couple of months.
