Pointless is laughably fixed. The amount of times it goes down to 1. BBC are too pikey to want to give out £2500 to the winners' charities because they spent all their money back in the day funding Jimmy Saville's sexcapades with kids.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Pastore is overrated. I'd be kinda okay with this too. A DDR - Verratti swap though ... not so much. :/ Don't you do it, Marco.

Pastore would replace Pato, at least we would've another striker that doesn't get injured every match. His golden year at Palermo was a once in a lifetime thing, but he can't be worse than a guy who barely played a couple of matches and scored two goals in four months.
As I've said, people can't expect El Shaa to keep scoring like this until the end, we can't trust Robinho and Bojan to score loads of goals, Pazzini isn't that good at all, Niang is still too young, Pato is fragile - both physically and emotionally. Pastore would help us, we'd have somebody else upfront who at least know how to score. He's no Messi, but it's a start.

Also, lol at those "journalists" talking about Lewandowski to Milan. Heh, according to them, we'll buy him, Balotelli, Eriksen, Strootman, Hummels, Drogba, De Rossi and a bunch of others. Everybody, while spending something near 40M, earned from selling Pato and Robinho.

Yeah, I think Felleini is gonna work in the shop selling his face untill Chelsea buys. thanks a lot mate!

Fuck Bayern

Not quite. It's actually quite easy for City to meet FFP.

As detailed in that blog post all they need is the BT money and to consistently do well in the CL. So basically... GET PEP!
City will bridge the £90m loss gap to FFP soon enough with the new TV deal, more deals like the Etihad one and general commercial increases...but...if City want to keep spending big then they need to go quite a bit further. Bridging the £90m means they pass FFP with all costs staying level...

And Pep is coming to United. It's Mourinho for you.

Just think, either Pep or Mou will be managing the likes of Andesron & Bebe in the future. Almost enough to make me proclaim the death of football.

Ugh. That would be awful. Keep that in Europe please.

David Villa over anyone. Fuck Messi, Ronaldo and Cleverley, I want Villa.
Not that the Scottish league is representative of any type of quality, real or imagined, but even then he looks very, very average.

Can't we just get Del Piero back?

Nikica Jelavić (former Rangers) turned out to be quite decent! But we have decent strikers. :/

Zabojnik said:
It begins. 1000000000 names thrown around and then we'll sign Peluso. Marry-style.

Our relationship with Atalanta is mildly disturbing to say the least.

Right fede, but you also rate(d) Matri, so ...
<3

Matri is good, I stand by that. But he's finished in a 3-5-2. His problem is our formation is awful for him. 4-3-3 where he's the focus of attacks. He doesn't do well in a pairing of two strikers where he's expected to be part of the creative interplay.

From Serie A, I reckon this January we'll get linked with Osvaldo and German Denis.

Edit: Even as a Reggina sympathizer with great memories of the Rolando Bianchi/Nicola Amoruso partnership, no thank you.

Also, am I crazy or would Luca Toni have done decently alongside Giovinco? I really like Luca, and he clearly has no place in our squad anymore, but yeah.

Lucio got his contract terminated? Wow.

Could be good for QPR, maybe Julio Cesar could get him to come over.

Don't be so shocked. Played 4 games with us plus preseason, and he was shit the whole time through. Slow, cumbersome, and I think he needs contacts because the only thing he had going for him was his vision and he missed a ball fucking bouncing over his head.

Balotelli's ex-girlfriend: "My mother and my brother were at the birth and filmed it, as requested by me. I sent texts to Mario from 15.00 when the contractions started to 18.30 when I went into the operating theatre. I emerged and sent more texts, straight after Pia was born. Only at 00.30 did the phone finally ring. I told him I had given birth. He replied: ‘Ah, ok. I don’t care.’ And he hung up. That was the last time I heard from him."

I'll hunt you down Bungie.

:lol

If that's true, how very sad.

Finally got the picture back! Me and Ruud with the European Cup

Newcastle United Christmas party cancelled due to poor run

ALAN PARDEW has revealed that Newcastle United have cancelled Christmas as a show of respect to the Toon Army.

With United now just two points above the relegation zone after their 3-1 defeat at home to Manchester City, Pardew explained that he had to put a stop to festive partying in order to maintain focus on the task in hand in the Premier League. Toon stars usually hold their Christmas night out around this time of year and have been to both Dublin and Glasgow in recent years.

But Pardew acted quickly to call off plans for a team get-together over the weekend.

He told the Chronicle: “It’s out of respect to our fans, and what we’ve served them this year.

“There’s no party for us, and the same for the staff. That’s how it should be.”

Angered by suggestions that Newcastle weren’t working hard enough during their poor run, Pardew wanted to make the situation crystal clear to supporters.

He said: “Trust me, there have been horrible things said about our group and our staff, but we’re together.

“And we’re fighting and trying to put it right. The fans have to realise this isn’t just a game to us – it’s our livelihoods and our profession. It pays our bills.

“Not only that, we have to have a certain pressure of entertaining our fans who pay good money to come and watch.”

Newcastle showed signs of improvement against Man City but by that time they were 2-0 down. However, a 30-minute attacking display did at one point have the champions under the cosh.

Yet after Newcastle finally succumbed to a 3-1 loss, Pardew believes that even victory over Man City would not have justified a festive party.

The Toon boss said: “Looking at all those factors – we’ve not done enough this year.

“That’s why I think it’s right we called it off.”
