At least she doesn't seem to be at risk to lose her sensibility. She's very mature and articulate for a 13 year old, and I don't see her as a psychotic meltdown candidate later in life.

It was a horrible duet. They never harmonized, and it seemed like neither of them agreed on who sings what verses. Seemed almost like an impromptu performance.

That duet was terrible though. So no lies.
Carly was just way too young, even though she's insanely talented, and it's very possible this was a bad idea for her career, because she doesn't really have the type of charisma that Rachel did last year.
Her massive amount of stage experience seemed to be a problem at times, as she's so used to performing in a way that's NOT what you do as a pop performer.

Eh, Carly has nobody to blame but her damn self. A confident contestant would have been able to rise to the occasion and shine regardless of her partner (see: Jessica Sanchez battling for dear life against Jennifer Holiday in their finale duet of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going"). But Carly sank and faded. If a Leanne Rimes fresh from the opium den was still able to out-sing and out-shine her then she has nobody to blame but herself and deserved to lose.
