It's a charming little puzzle platformer where the ultimate goal is to escort a princess through a trap-filled room. It's got a bit of an uneven difficulty curve for some stages, but the feeling you get when you finally figure out the game's more devious setups is, as expect, very gratifying.

The artstyle is charming and easy to look at (it's easy to tell objects apart in the background, which is crucial for puzzle games), touch controls are well-implemented (no shitty rear-touchpad implementation!) into the puzzle design and the controls are nice and responsive. There's a bit of slowdown that occurs for certain enemies that fill the screen are once, but it's nothing major and can actually be used to your benefit at times.

Dokuro has quite a bit of content to it as well. Well over 100 puzzles to clear, with a coin that one can collect in each room adding to the challenge, plus trophies that require you to constantly strive for the best time possible in each room, prompting replays to figure out more efficient strategies and ways to clear puzzles. Oh yeah, and it has a platinum trophy. Well worth the purchase!

It's only a platformer in the broadest sense. It's really a puzzle game. Like Pushmo.

And like Pushmo, it's reeeeaaaally charming.
The music is repetitive like Pushmo too >_> but that's okay, it's catchy

Cool. I'll definitely get it at some point. Dammit I've got too many games to play! Assuming no more games for Vita were ever announced, I would still be sorted for games to play for well over a year between Vita, PS1 and PSP games. That's not even including PS3 and my pending 3DS and Wii U purchases!

Did you get Crashmo yet? How does it compare?

Actually it fits right into the "12 classics in 2013" idea I had for a lets play thread, but I'll post that later (so we actually get to play our games).

Additionally, since I am in a very Christmas'ey mood (and bought the gifts before I got to know I might get laid off, derp), here is the giveaway contest thingie.

I got 3 Wild Arms (RPG), and 3 Alundra (Zelda type game) codes I want to gift to you guys! (who would have thought) 2 terms:

1. You actually want to play the game and will at least try to contribute in the Lets Play thread when they pop up. The Alundra one will be through January, and Wild Arms probably in February.
2. Be creative! I want a crude MS Paint(or whatever) drawing of your favourite Vita game (and state whether you'd like to get Alundra or Wild Arms)! :D If you dont want to participate in the contest, feel free to draw something anyway for fun and state that you dont enter the giveaway :)

I'll go to bed in a few minutes and will choose the winners of the games when I get to it. Yes it will spam the thread for 2-3 pages but I would like to see some light hearted Christmas fun :)

Yep I just completed stage 10 of dokuro and forgot how great the game is. Says I have logged nearly 10 hours so far and I have 40 stages left. $10 people! Jump on it! Well worth, and there is platinum if you're interested.

Also was surprised by the boss fights. Didn't expect them in a game like this, and they are well done.
 
I've actually heard some great things about Alundra, I think I'll grab it in the near future off the store. Nice to hear it's like Zelda in some ways.

Yes, we are, MBA is going to rotate out, not sure what will rotate in, but my guess is it's not a full retail title like WipEout/Gravity Rush/Uncharted.

Finished LBP Vita story mode.
Still wanting to do a bunch of the 2player+ trophies. Add me and let me know when you want to play and I'll do my best to accommodate. .
 
I love thet we are all having fun, sharing our creativity through art. Really cool, builds a feeling of community - puts a human touch in the thread. Even though its for something (which I drew forfun, dont want a game lol) - I hope it continues, even if sporadically.

I know it's terrible, but that's what 15 minutes in MS Paint will give you.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus was my first Ninja Gaiden title. I enjoyed it so much that I borrowed a friend's Xbox to play Black and II. Amazing, rewarding combat, even if the protagonist (and art/music) is slightly generic.
Black is now my favorite action title, barely beating out DMC3.

Also BUY NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA PLUS

so I just copied a game from my Vita to my PS3. Its safe to delete the game from Vita right? Whats the difference between 'Copy Content' from 'Backup' anyway? a bit confused here.

A retailer in Japan has accidentally leaked the release date of Atelier Meruru Plus for Vita :)
(Actually it's not even announced yet, even though people are expecting it to be ported).

Vita GAF a little help please.

I am getting a Vita for Christmas and intend to play the Soul Sacrifice demo but I will only have one memory card.

Now I am content with sticking with a Jpn PSN account until I am done with the demo but can I do this?

Play the retail caoy of persona 4 on the Japan account and when I tire of Soul Sacrifice somehow transfer my P4 save to my english PSN account?

Welp, after looking at the art entries so far Imma say I have no chance at getting Wild Arms, too bad, my older brother and I just remembered that game today when we were getting all nostalgic over old RPGs and we both wanted to play it again, haha.

Good job on all the art though guys, some awesome stuff.
 
UK Vitabros, Wipeout 2048, Rayman and Lumines are £4.91 each at PC World/Currys online to collect in store. You might get lucky with stock at a store near you.

I can't believe this but it seems I lost my Gravity Rush card I can't find it and I've been driving myself mad looking for it. I've never lost a game before and I just don't know where the hell the game is. Has anyone ever lost a game? I had it in my hard case that I bought but the pouches do ten to let a game slide out if they aren't double stacked. I went to a buddy house and took my Vita with me so I went back there and checked his couches and chair's and hell even his vacuum bag. So damn pissed at myself.

They are small, they will get lost, I lost many DS games everywhere(over 20) but none for PSVita or 3DS yet.

I always keep only 1 umd/card in my psp/vita + whatever i have digitally when travelling.

Helps me to finish those games :D
