My god, this is wordy as hell. I expect manga chapters to take 5 minutes at the most, not 20. I know it's a recounting of a 2ch thread, but seriously. I don't know if this is a Japanese thing or not, but the way they text each other is really annoying.

Magi is already a fav in my iPad manga app. Still not sure when to start it.
Just keep reading. It's absolutely worth it. I'm almost willing to bet on it that you won't be disappointed.
I don't have a fav group. I just read whatever my app finds.
Read Onepunch Man. You'll get some good laughs out of it.

I felt the same way about the first two chapters, but it gets (somewhat) less wordy.
I did for awhile. Haven't in the past few years though.
I more meant in the sense of not being a good guy anymore :x

Yeah, the beginning is not that great. The better parts start in the middle. Just keep reading and don't forget, that was the manga that brought ManGAF together. There's a reason for that.
On top of the ones suggested, I will also add Shingeki no Kyojin.

My best random find was REAL. I literally pressed the "find a random manga!" button on a certain website and landed on REAL. Now I have 5 volumes sitting on my bookshelf.
Actually, there's also Boys on the Run that I found completely by accident just browsing some huge list of Seinen series. And that turned out god damn amazing.
And most recently has been Suicide Island which I recommend to anyone who enjoys survival themed stories or stuff like the 1st season of Lost.

Good manga.
Also, Boys on the Run is fantastic. It takes so many typical romantic tropes and then proceed to turn them upside down; what a roller coaster.
I just read all 8 chapters, and yeah, the MC is an idiot, but I guess this will be resolved very quickly. I don't think anyone tops Yuki Rito in terms of harem MC idiocracy though.

So I read all of what was available of Green Blood.
It seems like the manga is almost over already, which is fine because I hate it when things outstay their welcome, but at the same time I'm a little sad to see it go so soon.

Well we know there will be at least 2 more volumes and from the looks of the third volume cover, there is gonna be another named assassin who will face off against the Grim Reaper
