And for the record, Jojo's wasn't as unbalanced as people say. There just weren't enough people playing to accurately judge tiers.

I spent a good 5 years playing Jojo's and VF4 pretty much by myself. I don't really care. I thought the FGC were the same people that walk around with anime love pillows back then anyway.

I'd say there were enough Japanese players at least to judge the tiers.

Not really. And the germans are better at Jojo's anyway. Unless BBC is Japanese, I never really found out where he's from. Most people dropped Jojo's because 3s and MVC2 were easier to play and had characters they recognized. Or went back to Darkstalkers.

Playing MvC2 while having anime fighter friends automatically told me the FGC is very vast.
Especially when you hear one group of people saying "constant n-words" and see some of the players with bitches and then the other group have nothing but kawaii-desu shit all over their room and that only.

90% of the strategy is the same as before. If he starts floating on the perch to throw out Swords immediately Meteor him (uncharged version). If you don't have meter use Rolling Blaze to break the swords around you. If he has Spiral Swords, on him stay the fuck away until they are off him.

And WTF @ those pillow pics.

American players are best at Marvel because they play it a fuck ton. The grind sessions are ridiculous.

I keep forgetting what model the "EVO monitor" even is so I looked it up and I see Sixfortyfive's post. I hope the bit about post processing on Asus monitors is true since I prefer to keep my Asus on theater mode. It is a bit darker, but the annoying backlight doesn't wash out the colors. Most HDTVs add lag the moment you switch them out of game mode...

More or less my experience with SCV. I had no idea how to take a characters moveset and pick and choose which moves were worth using in a match and I'd just get stomped by ambiguous looking low moves and shenanigans.

I've never played Tekken, but dudes in the other thread were saying learning how to play Tekken is harder than most other fighters since there aren't really any other games that play similar to it as opposed to, say, Street Fighter and KOF. I guess that's true?
