I don't really play competitively, but if the CPU is going to use teams of perfect Pokemon in Battle Subway and PWT, so am I.

On my White, I've got about 630 of the Pokemon. Mainly ones carried over since the start of Gen 3, including a few from Colosseum and XD

If the games get sequels called XX and XY (the Japanese logos for X and Y feature DNA Helix's, so they're double referencing both co-ordinates and chromosomes), then we will be abbreviating it as XXXY, so you may just get your wish there, kinda.

Actually, unless I'm crazy and am seeing things, it looks like the glasses are still there, they were just too scared to jump over to the other side.
Look carefully at Dennis's gif and you'll see what seems to be the glasses glitching out and remain where they were before the protagonist swings over.
Of course, the interesting thing about that is that it begs the question as to why the glasses are a separate model?

No, just the new cave Pokemon that will become equally annoying to you by mid-game, if not the moment you see them due to their similarities to other cave Pokemon.
i wouldn't be surprised if every single Pokemon game is created directly off of it's predecessor. it's probably much easier that way, with how complicated the games have gotten.

When I was a kid, I never dreamed of completing the Pokedex, and now Im two Pokemons away in completing it. Fucking event legendaries screwing people living outside NA. I still dont have Meloetta and Keldeo
In the UK they still force you to go to GAME for some even though 90% of them were closed.
It also involves going to GAME.

If by first-gen, you mean that you have FireRed/LeafGreen, then yes, yes you can. In order from oldest to newest games:
You can send Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen to Diamond/Pearl/PlatinumHeartGold/SoulSilver, which you can send to Black/White(2), which you can sent to X and Y.
Or they didn't want to show any more of the new ones but still wanted to show battles. All the other Pokémon were old ones.

I'm also not talking about breeding.
I don't think we can take any of the Pokemon shown as gospel for the new region, looked like they were just showing off faces from the past.

I wonder if this will change this generation. There's no reason anymore to have a local event now that the 3DS is a true online system and the worldwide release and whatnot.
It does have the memory however, to store so various locations in detail.

They fixed this in Black/White.
Besides it's all about Repels. You really don't need to train with wild Pokemon with all the trainers in the games.
