Just look at the comments on that initial Kotaku article on Kamiya's comments, merely saying he's not interested in PC gaming. "Just when I thought Japan couldn't be any more behind than they already are ..." and on and on.

Kotaku updated the article and reworded the headline, also stating they where in the wrong for writing the original headline...at least they owned up to that

Still, I'm kind of surprised at the shit he says sometimes. Is he drunk all the time or something?

You also hear it all the time on Japanese TV. Sure, you won't see a newscaster say it, and you probably won't heart it much on NHK, but that doesn't mean much.

Capcom has been pretty good about porting their biggest releases this gen. Good ports too.(People shit on Capcom alot but they have been leading the charge in Japanese game PC support)

Seems like Konami is entertaining the idea for Metal Gear and Bandai Namco has announced the Dark Souls 2 PC version with the console ones.

Baby steps, but progress is definitely being made

On top of that that article is from Kotaku, and it is even low for Kotaku standards. Oh no, he said "and some stupid fucking foreigners". Going by the responses he got, I'd say that he is being fairly accurate in his descriptors.

What do you mean am I serious? That guy compared what Kamiya said to someone saying, "fucking foreigners can't drive for shit." That would only be a fair comparison in a situation where all of the people driving like shit were foreign, in which case, it may be a fair statement (albeit offensive).

You say context is everything, so you shouldn't ignore that pretty much all of the people fucking with Kamiya on Twitter are "foreign" from his perspective. He doesn't typically get retarded spam in Japanese (unless it was created by Google translate).

I def' agree with you on that one! And he had every right to be angry at what was written about him. Hell I know i would, especially from a site that has so many readers.
 
I find Kamiya refreshing. Dude is human, he has a good job and he is cofident in his ablilities to make good games so I'm cool with hearing exactly what he has to say. If someone pisses him off then I'm cool with him telling them to eat shit, just as I am when he has good/nice things to say to people outside of Japan which he has done many, many times.
