I just striked a deal and is getting a 1-week used copy of LittleBigPlanet for $20. I'll receive it this week, kind of exciting. I'm also gonna pick up a used Sony PS Vita stand tomorrow for $18. :)

Now somebody wanna sell me new copies of Everybody's Golf (I got the review copy) and Resistance: Burning Skies for $35 - is that a good deal?

EDIT:
First post on new page. Guess I should recommend a game. Go get Unit 13! Best controls in a third person shooter and the stealth elements and design up missions are addicting. Anyone wanna try co-op with me?

You deleted MBA? It's small in size and big on quality. No justifiable reason to never have it installed. Please rectify this immediately.

Updated. We are sitting at 11 (for those that refuse to count)..would like to hit 16 so we can do a easy, fair bracket. If we don't get to 16 though by the end of tonight, I am going to close out the tournament and the first 8 people that respond with interest get in.
 
Playing MGS HD collection finally after being able to put P4G down. I now remember why i enjoyed watching my friend play and beat them on ps2 rather than play them myself. Not bad games, Raidens a dingus, just not my cup of tea. Debating on moving on back to LBP vita or jumping into Persona 2. Still have $20 burning a hole in my psn wallet but no sales this week.

To be fair I have finished it twice, I just wanted to go for the platinum but no point now

Depends on what you consider game breaking -- I got so pissed off at the long pause from initiating an encounter to the actual battle start that I stopped playing.

Not really any spoilers there, if you click it. It's in the first 15 minutes or so of the game and it's a minigame type battle. You can see what the standard load time for a random encounter is there, when the text/speech box is exited and there's a weird pause for several seconds before anything happens. I found it to be quite jarring. A 8 second or so pause before it loads the battle theme and starts the battle? Horrible.

I've had a real bad time struggling with MGS collection on both vita and 360. Also on PS2. Something about the controls feels really unintuitive. PS2 was the best of the group, though.

I don't mind Darksiders being added. At least its a quality game (though one that a lot of people have played).

I would concur. Both are amazing quality. Find a way to splurge and get both.

Weird. I had no trouble with the 360 version, though I do wish I had got the PS3 version in the end. I got it on there hoping a friend who got it would play some PW but that never materialized.
 
I just think I'll keep my review copy of Hot Shots Golf as it doesn't seem a HSG retail box and Resistance is worth the $35. I could go get Rayman Origins or Lumines instead.

Also, I have had no problem at all controlling MGS on Vita, while I had major trouble on Xbox 360 - probably cause I'm very used to the set-up of MGS1, 2 and 3 on PSone and PS2.

so by end of tonight do you mean midnight EST US? or what? i gotta make sure to sit by the computer to resopnd asap. also i havent done multiplayer is it cross region? if not that might reduce the amount of people who are already signed up. anyways im looking forward to it either way.

When does the tournament start?

I'd like to join. Haven't played a MP HS game with GAF since when the Vita was originally released.
 
Another terrible week for PS Plus on Vita. Ugh. I'll probably still pick up Stardrone since it's only $2.

For the person that asked, Stardrone Extreme was actually one of the earlier PSN titles to come out on Vita. Been there for a long time.

Tomorrow, one way or another, I plan on setting up brackets and encouraging people to begin communicating with their first round opponents to set up a play time that works for both parties. It is just a casual tournament, so I am not setting a hard deadline (though for the sake of everyone, at some point, we will need to advance). I'll add you to the list. What's your PSN ID?
 
So from what it sounds like is that you can't just use an mp3 file as your alarm. They'll just sell you songs as dlc. This sounds terrible....I want to be able to pick the song I want to play if it's on my vita.

I watched a gameplay video but couldn't figure out what was going on -- not sure I'll waste $2 on it at this point.

And of course it's a terrible week for PS+ on Vita. We get Vita PS+ content like 2 weeks out of 4, at best, per month. We're not in the final 2 weeks of the month yet, so there's no Vita content.

The choice of Darksiders is extremely disappointing to me from a PS3 owner standpoint. Great game, it's just so damn old. Also, at least I think they gave it to Europe BEFORE Darksiders 2 came out... ugh.

And it's done. I just payed for LittleBigPlanet. I actually liked LBP2 enough to give it an 8/10 back in the day and I hope the Vita can truly convince me. I hope for a very solid singleplayer campaign (kinda liked the one in LBP2) and some nice user levels. But I will never get to spend time on my own levels. Got too man review copies to play through.

I'm thinking if I really need that PS Vita stand. =/

In his defense, it's been deleted off my card -- I think it's 500mb+ patched... and I have 100%. Love the game, but it doesn't need to stay on my card until I have a 7gb card and can't fill it or Sony gives me Folders or something so I can fit everything.

There's a demo of it on the PS Store. It's okay. Nothing great, but not bad.

Yeah. In the end it's a luxury as I get by just fine without one. I think I'll decide not to get one and instead put that money toward Persona 4. I also have to hold back on purchasing and hope for some Vita review copies if I am to buy PlayStation 4 later this year.

agreed. honestly, i got rid of it as soon as i did 1 run through. i thought it was a great game but, to me it was playable on an iOS device....and thats not a bad thing, it's jsut not the type of game i want to be spending my time on and taking up my valuable GeeBees.

...not to mention i only have a 4gb card my real problem... but im not biting on 32 till i can get it for 60.
