This Te'o story makes ND performance vs Bama much more explainable. Their emotional leader completely distracted and flat. Huge blow
I don't think that's true.
A google search for Leukkennya'a only pulls up pages discussing this story.
It probably isn't, but we can dream.

Lennay Kekua is an anagram of Leukemia, spelled "Leukkennya'a" in Hawaiian.
Don't believe anything Notre Dame says. It's likely a lie.

Thank you to my now 300,000 followers who have made Twitter become the powerful tool that it is. I hope all of you are real.
Same. What does ND have to gain, really, when you consider the shitstorm if it's a cover up/lie, especially post-PSU.I'm just not that cynical. If that's not true then it must be teo lying IMO. Not buying a vast coverup, but stranger things have certainly happened.
Is there a bullet point version online somewhere lol.
Her mom ran the twitter account, but never actually saw Kekua either so she guessed what she looked like based on phone calls!

I don't get it? What is the significance of Leukemia in this context?
Am I understanding something wrong or missing something?
Is this story basically just some guy falling for a fake online gf and being told that she dies and then that part goes public (football player's gf dies)..And now everyone knows she was just an "online gf" he never met...
So it's believable (people send money to foreign "models" all the time or get scammed by Nigerian princes), but still pathetic...Is there something else I'm missing here?

If the Hawaiian Islands are a hoax, where did the Hawaiian people come from???
The dude wasn't the best LB in college football, let alone best player. This story helped propel him into the national spot light and into the Heisman discussionSame. What does ND have to gain, really, when you consider the shitstorm if it's a cover up/lie, especially post-PSU.
that's the story he's sticking to yes, the sad truth is he made her up.Am I understanding something wrong or missing something?

You're missing the part where the football player has said that he's talked to the girl on the phone, is close to her family, met her at a football game, spent time with her in Hawaii, etc.
Don't forget the guy on the Arizona Cardinals who "knows" her.
Right I see what he had to gain- not ND thoThe dude wasn't the best LB in college football, let alone best player. This story helped propel him into the national spot light and into the Heisman discussion

ND had everything to gain because they are all about pride and national prestige.Right I see what he had to gain- not ND tho
LAnce armstrong must be smiling right now that this happened
This happens on Internet forums all the time. Didn't think these things would ever leak into real life!

Why is everyone saying Manti is a victim of a hoax? It's like saying Lance is a victim of a doping scandal.
