Point to the topic is, and this question goes both ways. Female/male. Do you ever let the fact out that you're a virgin to your future partner or friends/family? Or do most people lie about it because they're afraid of the consequences?

Are most people even confident enough to reveal that? I've seen so MANY people lie about it and it's pretty easy to tell when you are listening to the conversation from the other side. Truth be told, I was a virgin up till my early twenties; in fact, at that point I was confident in letting the world know that I was a virgin college kid no matter who it was really. Girls would ask me if I was a virgin at college most times when I'm going out with them for the first time or some of them are even creative enough to ask me that first before even giving me a chance so they could bail on the date or whatever.

I want to personally tell all you guys out there that if you actually tell a girl that you're a virgin, a lot of them actually like that. And not only that, it shows that you're confident (reverse?) and you can also humor her about it.

I was extremely shy and insecure. It got so bad that you could probably call it a social phobia. When I started going outside again I was so still so insecure and inexperienced that I didn't know what to do even if a girl was hitting on me. Ended up losing my virginity at 27 while I was wasted, which didn't do much against my insecurity either. Luckily I grew over most of it and got a great girlfriend now, but it isn't that strange to me.
