Just got an email today that I was in the top 10 of a Benelux competition for "Ultimate Playstation Gamer 2013". Finals are next Saturday in Belgium, if I win I get a(nother) Vita and a year of free PS3/Vita games! Imagine all the Vita games I could get!

wtf? a year of free ps3/vita games? does that mean you could get every game that is currently available?
 
Just got a black iPhone 5 last night. Not really planning to game on it (was iPad gaming that pushed me to 3DS, which led to Vita), as its my first iPhone...still, my white Vita creams this sucker in terms of fit/finish and awesome. Nice phone, though.

I installed the iPad game Shadowgun (I have tons more, but lazy) onto it, remembered why I dislike touchscreen gaming - especially more so on the iPhones smaller screen.

Yeah, games that work well on iPhone/Android are those that don't use virtual joysticks. Those are always vastly inferior to gaming on Vita. But the good ones that are tailor made for touch are oftentimes great.

Which I figured, since I had a iPod Touch in 2007? And iPad 1-3 (2010-current) - but the iPhone is just too small. :0)

A vita feature I wish iOS had: hold your finger on the top or bottom of the screen, to autoscroll :0(

I doubt it. Including cell/rsx would jack up the cost of the PS4 similarly to how the PS2 components increased the cost of the PS3.

I also am somewhat back from my hiatus - the wife and I made a deal today:

1. She gets to post embarrassing pictures of me on Facebook;
2. I get to play my Vita again. She said if she gets to post them I can have anything I want, and I could only think of two things, one was the Vita and the other was too naughty to mention here ;)

Gonna catch up on my trophy hunting, I want to get 100% in Motorstorm RC finally and then move onto platinum-ing Gravity Rush or Uncharted.. Golden Abyss and 3 are the only Uncharted's I haven't platinum'ed. So excited though!! So many games to play~

The only little issue is that, while I like my occasional RPG, I always love a good racing game. Will Persona's power be strong enough to pull a casual RPG player in?

Sonic's great, if you're a casual RPG fan though don't bother with Persona. It's nice, but Sonic has a ridiculous amount of content for a racer and is very challenging.

It's funny because "a year of free games" is quite literally how Sony markets their one year subscription to PS+.

This is the title of their White PS3 email: "Pre-order the new Classic White PS3 and get a year of free games"

The hilarious thing is that she was actually considering the naughty thing, and then we both stopped talking about it, and then she guilted me into letting her post the pics anyway, and then she felt bad and said "Ok, you can play Vita now" - so, my plan worked all along~

I think I'd be asking for the naughty thing over playing my Vita again. :P

But yes Vita is fun. :P
 
With no English release for Muramasa confirmed...how necessary is it to understand the story or menus? Watching gameplay clips and considering importing, it looks basic enough to play...
 
My Vita won't charge anymore.... I left it plugged in for a good 45mins and I can't even get a light to tell me it's plugged in to show.
