I like your style.

Let's not forget that this blood feud had the stipulation at WM that HHH would the title if disqualified, I figure this was one of the ways outside of the opposite approach of No DQ to play up the hatred the two were supposed to have for each other and while this idea could have worked it sort of fell apart instead having the match lack the intensity that the feud itself had just so we could have a few moments where HHH picks up a chair and has some inner turmoil.
I still remember the bit near the end where HHH is just wailing on Orton with mounted punches, the ref tries to stop him but Trips can't be held back, but of course he doesn't get disqualified anyway and he breaks out with a mighty yell to the apathy of the dead crowd, and then he just picks Orton up and pedigrees him just like that, that finish was horrible.

I forgot about that part. I don't think Orton got a single near fall in the match. Every "near fall" was HHH "Thinking about getting DQ'd" which didn't work.

No shit? Thanks for the info. Had no idea he was actually working for the company, thought he just made his money and retired like most.

Just seen he cut his hair too. Wtf he looks weird with short hair lol

He's married to Stephanie McMahon, so he's pretty much replaced Shane McMahon as Vince's heir (Shane left a while back to make his fortune elsewhere, he now runs a big tech company of some sort in Asia if I recall).

Might as well do my predicitons now.

Royal Rumble Winner!

Well its the rumble so "anything can happen (tm)" so instead of picking one winner I will just list a few people in the order I think the chances of them winning are.

1 - John Cena. Once in a Lifetime 2, Rock has to job out this time and eventually leading to Once in a lifetime 3 as the tiebreaker match for the greatest wrasle of all time!!! match next year at WM 30.

2 - Sheamus. Triple H's pet project. I am Irish and even I dont care for him that much but if Cena isnt winning it will probably go to someone on SD and he is Cena for Smackdown.

3 - The Rock. If the Rock loses the title match I am calling it that he is winning the rumble.

4 - The Miz. Because FUCK YOU! THATS WHY.

5 - Randy Orton. ZZZZZzzzzz

1000.1 chance of ANYONE else winning.

Unless Ziggler gets eliminated first I suspect he will have a hell of a showing and be in the match for nearly a hour.

Ryback will make a go for Kanes record.

A few returns but nothing shocking. I think the dirt sheets have it right and we will see a lot of older mid card guys returning to beef the roster up. Also somebody is probably going to get there ass kicked/wig split.

WWE title match.

The Rock winning is the safest bet in the world unless Lesner returns and costs him the title.

WHC match.

Del Rio wins.

Tag Titles

Rhode Scholars wins. Team Hell No had a good run but its time to go there own ways.

Ziggler will be in the final 2/3, and there will be an ongoing Shield/Ryback battle going on through like half the rumble as they fight each other while fighting through other guys.

Hmm, a prediction that I have:

Lesnar interferes with match, and Vince strips Punk of title. Not necessarily given to the Rock, but Punk doesn't have it.

Punk has nothing to do with the Shield, Maddox, or Lesnar, and it turns out that Heyman has been planning it all along.

Punk turns on Heyman, and goes back to the dirty face.

Punk Lesnar WM match.

Also, Heyman gets to say Brock Lesnar again, which makes me happy.

Like Brock Lesnar?

I saw an ad on TV last night for the Elimination Chamber PPV tickets going on sale (in New Orleans). It was hyping the Rock as being part of it.

Doesn't mean that The Rock doesn't need to win tomorrow in order to be the champ by WM?

They could just leave the strap on Punk in order to push buy rates for EC.

Just a thought...

That is one thing they are considering, but in all likelyhood Rock is winning at the Rumble. Cena beating The Rock at Mania is less significant if Punk did it first.

The Rock in 3 straight PPV matches? WTF.

YOURE AN ACTUAL MOVIE STAR. NOT A WWE HYPED "MOVIE STAR", BUT A REAL ONE.

Stop this mess!

Ultimate swerve tomorrow:

The Rock was behind The Shield. They come out to supposedly help Punk but turn on him in favor of The Rock.

"It was me, Punk! It was me all along, Punk!"

Hey maybe they'll decide Cena doesn't need the rub, but Punk does.

lol

I wish we could get Hollywood Rock's return. :(

He could actually arrive for his Wrestlemania match in the helicopter from his entrance package.

Why would he have to win tomorrow?

He can be part of it without the title - especially if hes going to be in the Elimination Chamber match itself.

Personally I think theres a screwjob non-finish involving Shield just obliterating both guys (with the 3 of them pre-match talking to somebody you can't see on camera) - setting up all 5 guys for the vacated title at Elimination Chamber.

Rock has been advertised for EC for ages. At least, it's been on WWE.com for ages.

The EC is not too bad for him, he could take a few bumps then hide in a corner.

Bigger draw if The Rock lost tomorrow.

The audience would want to see if he could win after losing @ RR.

If he is the champ tomorrow, it lessens the motivation to buy EC, since you know he will be champ to fight Cena @ WM.

Does that make sense as I typed it?

I wonder what kind of selling The Rock has up his sleeve for tomorrow. Still one of the best in the biz.

He has two movies to promote! The talk show circuit is for pussies.

EDIT: Three! Forgot about Snitch, which you really shouldn't hold against me.

I don't keep up with this much anymore, but they're not giving the Rock the title, especially beating a guy that's had the belt and beat everyone else for 1.5 years. It's getting dropped in a much more dramatic fashion to someone that deserves it.

I would be really happy if the following win the Rumble: Ziggler.
I would also accept Batista, Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, The Rock

I will most likely quit watching until WM if Cena or Ryberg win. Anyone else would probably be fine.

Leave it to Botch Cena to injure The Rock.

Leave it To The Rock to still finish and electrify. I want him to win the title, win the Elimination Chamber, then defend successfully at Wrestlemania. He can retire the next night on Raw. Next year, they can induct him into the Hall of Fame.

After watching the Smackdown Promo with Punk, The Rock and The Shield why do I have a feeling The Shield will screw Punk over and help The Rock win which starts a rivalry with Punk and The Shield? (I don't see them going into the RR and losing because it will make them look weak)

This will keep going into EC where they will screw Punk out the belt again which will lead to a WM match between them and punk talking about the Injustice they did to punk and his streak. I don't see a 3 on 1 match so Ambrose would most likely will be the choice because he has the most skill on the mic and in the ring and can be seen as the leader if they build him in that way as Rollins and Reigns outside the ring watching over the match. Fantasy Booking yes I know but, It's so hard seeing Punk win this Sunday with Vince over there loving a Rock Cena 2 match. If Punk has to lose please throw him into a storyline just as important as this belt streak or close to it.

Brock formed The Shield due to jealousy of Paul-Punk. Makes sense to me.

They're going to give it to the Rock so he can give it to Cena at Wrestlemania, so Cena can both get the title back and get a win against the Rock to offset his loss last year.

Might have to watch part of this show. I want to see Rock vs Punk. Might watch the rumble too, but let me guess, Cena is supposed to win? When can I expect these matches to actually start on the show? I don't think I can put up with the horribleness of the rest of the show for 3 hours.

The Rock as WWE Champion is money, simple as. It's the biggest story which could come out of tomorrow's match by some margin.

I'm watching Rock/Brock at SummerSlam right now and Rock is getting what I guess you would call Cena-boos. The more I think about it, the more I think Lesnar is a good candidate to win the Rumble.

The only way I can see The Shield in the Rumble personally is to help Ziggler win with a promo next night on Raw with them saying "Dolph Ziggler being forced to enter 1st or 2nd after winning the beat the clock challenge is unfair. Some might even call it an injustice."

Brock being behind the Shield would be interesting.

And fitting, given that tattoo on his chest.

The Punk = Shield idea seems the most obvious, but almost TOO obvious. Then again, it's Vince we're talking about, so I guess we'll see.

You're right.

AJ is going to be the boss of the Shield.
