its really sad

ABC murdered Nightline hard, after Ted Kopple's departure, use to rival 60Minutes in quality. I see no reason for that "news" show to be on anymore.

congrats Kimmel.

Kimmel's show is the best out of all the late night talk shows. Fallon is second.

Conan just tries to hard.
His schtick is old and annoying.

I mean, seriously; you can't beat "I'm F***ing Matt Damon"

I feel the opposite, he pretty much never tries in my opinion. He just seems burned out after the tonight show gig. Almost like he is running on fumes.

Do you guys actually think Kimmel will pass Leno in the ratings?

Maybe not right away but I bet Kimmel is already beating the others in key demos (younger viewers) or they wouldn't have put him in direct competition with the big boys

ps: Looking at some of those old vids, dude has lost a ton of weight. Good for him

I dont understand why the show isnt live.

When they moved 30 mins earlier, anyone know if production time changed, or if it stayed the same?

I only watch Craig Ferguson, and I haven't actually watched him in a year or so.
I went through a couple phases where I watched Letterman and Craig almost every night for a couple weeks at a time, but staying up that late wasn't doing me any favors. Craig's the best, though.

Sorry Jimmy. You moved into the wrong slot.

My understanding is that none of the shows air "live" but they're filmed live with an audience in the afternoon

Jimmy Kimmel was live when it first started. It's close to live now, I think it starts airing on the east coast before they finish filming which is why he can show clips of that night's shows during his monologue.

Years ago I thought it was real.
Back then I thought it was real too seeing as how Damon's face was so red. I love how the two are still feuding. I thought they stopped when Kimmel was "helping" Damon promote Bourne Ultimanium. Of all the talk show hosts, Kimmel seems to have the most celebrity pull.

I don't mind the success of his show at all.

It was glorious. I know Matt Damon is an actor, but he really was great hosting the show and doing the interviews.

I just wish Renner came out, and the two showed a clip of them acting out their characters in the Bourne films. I think that would've fueled a huge interest in the two teaming up in the next Bourne.
