Yesterday i had some mates at my house for a game night. And there were 5 people with me included. Played some fifa on the ps3 but only 4 people could play.. Then i turned on the wiiu for some nsmbu and 1 person was the gamepad and the other 4 players. Was fun, nice feature
Maybe they are waiting for potential price drop? Maybe because those announced games aren't out yet?
I really don't get this, why do people shit in a WiiU satisfaction thread? Yeah I get it, the joke's on us for enjoying the console. There are plenty of WiiUdoom threads made daily. Just go in there?

Buyer's remorse is starting to sink in a little for me. I still like the machine and I think off-screen TV is a blast, but seeing as Zombi U A) makes me ill; B) isn't much fun, and seeing how every game I have bar NSMBU and Nintendo Land are ports, I'm a bit like "Hmmmm..."
Then I remind myself Lego City is coming.

Anyone ever got error code 103-9999, I recently just started getting this while playing zombiU, could it be on Nintendos side, first WaraWara defaults now getting this.
I've got a feeling a software update is coming. Heard a couple people got a "software update failed to download" message pop up without even knowing they were updating. Maybe it's getting some issues between old and new OS software as they cross over (between server and console)?? Dunno.

The only thing keeping me from getting this game is that it is still $60.
Also I asked this before in the thread twice but got ignored.
My Wii U can use all online features correctly, eShop, Miiverse, Miiverse integrations in games, etc.
The only thing it cannot do is actually play the games Online. If I go to any matchmaking mode it will just load an error page. Have had this problem since I got the system.
I can STILL play Wii games online on the Wii U though, so no idea of what's going on.
Anyone had a similar problem?

Nintendo Land still gets playtime from my fiance and me. I really want to play New Super Mario Bros. U again so badly, but my brother is borrowing it. It's the first Mario game I've wanted to replay since Mario 64.
Zombi U is fun to pop in and attempt survival mode, and I do a racing in Sonic Racing every once and a while. Darksiders 2 is next on my list of games to play after Paper Mario 3DS.
Overall, I have been immensely satisfied with the Wii U. The first two weeks especially are probably the best first two weeks I've ever had with a system.
If I was a Wii U only owner, I'd be annoyed. But since I own every system and a gaming PC, I have more than enough to fill the gaps. And Monster Hunter and Lego City Undercover next month, YES FUCKING PLEASE.

I don't want to burst your bubble but I wouldn't be surprised if Sega cancels the Wii U version after all the backlash the PS360PC versions got.

No one at ubi has been able to do any work on the patch or any game development at all as they've all been too busy having to read the millions of rayman complaint emails, forum posts, Facebook messages and miiverse drawings

I'd be shocked if it didn't, should sell a few copies through morbid curiosity at least
NSMB, Monster Hunter, Game and Wario, Pikmin 3. Just to name a few off the top of my head.
I'm probably going to wait to see what Sony has to offer before I make the jump though. If they blow my socks off on Wednesday I might reconsider waiting on the Wii U.
What exact error are you getting? I would recommend you to try getting the system nearer your router, maybe that'll make a difference.
I swear someone posted a Twitter-post from the ones making the game/port/whatever; about how the Wii U version is still coming, but is up to Sega to announce anything.
Looking for it..unless it was confirmed as fake.

Well, I've just bought Balloon fight for 0.30 and I didn't know the game was that fun. I know it's a NES game and not a WiiU one, but I'm enjoying it a lot.
With this, now I have:
ZombiU (First game I bought) Excellent (it will be awesome once patched)
NintendoLand (Included in the deluxe pack) Extremely Good
Batman AC (Bought for 30 thanks to a neogaf post advertising it): Very Good+
Darksiders 2 (second game I bought with the system): Very Good
Nano Assault Neo (first downloable game I bought): Very Good
Balloon Fight (0.30 it's an incredible deal, I feel a bit like I'm a WiiU ambassador): Very Good
Mighty Switch Force HD: Very Good
And once I finish Darksiders 2 (is the one I'm currently playing) I'm planning to buy New Super Mario Bros U. I love 2D platformers and since Rayman has been delayed I will go with this one (and I've read that it's an excellent game, one of the best 2D marios if not the best of them all).
I think it's pretty obvious that I'm really satisfied with my purchase.
In fact, I think that between those games, the off-tv play, the asymetrical gameplay, miiverse and the awesome web-browser it's by far the console I enjoyed most I've ever had.
The fact I didn't buy some games on launch for my Xbox 360 to play them on the WiiU of course has given me a lot more to pick from, and it was a good decision because those games are really betters thanks to the WiiU exclusive features (and the fact that all DLC is included).

if you want those games buy it, nsmbu is the best 2d mario (the best 2d platformer full stop) in 22 years, arguably the best ever but thats more subjective

WoW man come on you can't say that when I'm trying not to buy the game until I'm finished with Darksiders 2!!!
I mean, is it better than Donkey Kong Country Returns? I think this is the best 2D platformer game I've ever played thanks to it's AWESOMELY designed levels... but then there is the fact that I also loved NSMBWii thanks to it's multiplayer...
Pfff, I think I'm going to buying this game tomorrow... XD

Yeah, it's awesome on the U and makes good use of the gamepad. That game would be the other recommendation I'd make.
Also, Black Ops II is totally worth checking out even if it's not usually your type of game. They rocked it on the U version, and people kick ass online with the Wiimote.

Still lovin' mine. Plenty busy this weekend with double XP for BLOPS2.
I have finished Batman AC:AA and the BLOPS2 campaign. In the last regular world of NSMBU.
I have only played about an hours of Zombi U, which was pretty brilliant, but I don't want to be juggling more than one single player campaign.
Also, I heart miiverse and the Wii Street U app is pretty cool.
All that said, I am really sad that Bioshock Infinite isn't coming to the platform - so I will need to get another one of the new machines long term to avoid similar situations.
Lastly, I am really enjoying Nintendo being Nintendo, from Iwata Asks to Nintendo Directs to all of the first party software. Just want to see what Retro is working on.

NSMBU: Pretty much what I expected, I can play it for about 20mins then i get bored.
Zombi U: I find it to be pretty awful, repetitive, and I hate the ridiculous amount of artificially vignetting that makes that game hard to see.
Nintendoland: Very pretty, very boring. Games that either control poorly, annoyingly, or that I've already experienced on my iPad.
Youtube app: Nice!
Netflix: Nice!
That's pretty much it, nothing else to do with the system. I'm pretty thoroughly dissatisfied so far. Nintendo needs to bring some amazing games in the next year... true modern classics, not just "good enough" experiences any more.

Picked up the zombiu bundle for the kids today. They seem to be enjoying it Had to explain to the SO that it was not just a different colored Wii, The system appears to be updated out of the box.

I got my Wii U last week after deciding the negativity of it might have been a bit overblown. Turns out I was right, the system is fine (setup, stability, visuals, transfer etc all went smooth).
Nintendoland is a bit garish though, but surprisingly I did have a good go of it yesterday and my wife, who has only ever really enjoyed animal crossing on GC and wii sports/resort played it with me.
Impressions so far, from her perspective are that animal crossing sweet day is too complicated, Luigis mansion she is good at and this is enjoyable, and Zelda is tricky but doable and she was competent as both arrow and sword wielder. Metroid she was rubbish at by her own admission.
The real surprise was Pikmin Adventure. She was really good at that, and loved it. I was playing as the Pikmin, she played as Olimar.
This gives me real hope for Pikmin 3 actually.
Edit: Also, Balloon Trip is GOTY material. Feels as natural as Wii Bowling or Wii Play Tanks did.
Other general musings: NSMBU is really familiar feeling, but in a good comfort food kind of way. I'll be going though this slowly. No rush.
Challenge mode is like Trials HD addictive.

Tank Tank Tank demo makes me want to buy it, it is completely fuckign stupid in all the right ways.
I sort of like Little Inferno but it confuses me like Noby Noby Boy did.
The Cave demo was good, might get it.

Playing RE and SH as a child was awesome and terrifying. Really glad my mom let me play whatever I wanted. ZombiU isn't that scary anyway man.

Off people that have actually played it?
I just tried it and I get 106-0502. I usually get other errors too though. Support.Nintendo doesn't seem to recognize them.
I also tried changing the channel in my router, doesn't seem to do a thing :c
