Competitive games that are embracing organized competition more (the 'e-sports') clearly make Twitch more money so I imagine Jared focuses on those now and the fighting game guys don't like him as much

He used that whole time with I Play Winner to get himself a job at Twitch and then turned around and pretty much forgot about Haunts. (the other dude in IPW) Of course he would tell you this isn't the case.

Also, he banned a FG streamer named Jiyuna who to be fair got a little drunk and (may have?) showed nudity on his stream. I say may have because Jared said he saw the archive but wouldn't post proof or anything, but the whole time I was watching the stream there was no nudity. On top of that a few days later an eSports guy (SC2 or LoL I forget) forgot to turn off his stream and literally streamed himself jerking off and managed to get re-instated the next day whereas Jiyuna remains banned even though he has tried apologizing.

Around the time that drama with Aris happened he chimed in, too, calling out the language of the community and stuff like that. That whole discussion was aweful.
He's like the Anita Sarkeesian of the FGC now.
 
I swear Ryan is going to keel over and have a heart attack anytime soon. He's not looking totally with it.

Yeah that sounds like the fighting game community. Really dumb over the top drama.

The archives are premium on the site, but they also archive on Twitch, which is free.

Anyway, in the past two days, Brad has shown to not like anime, baseball, or wrestling. WHAT ARE THIS MAN'S INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF VIDEOGAMES??? I'm calling it: the man's a spy.

A lot of people just take it way too far with the Jared hate. AJ, Markman and others will tell you that Jared doesn't actively hate fighting games or the community - just the same kind of shit that would get you banned on gaf.
