I've never had it, but Narwhal looks amazing. I love a good stout and generally like Sierra Nevada, so I'll definitely look for it.
If you can find a Ballast Point Victory at Sea, I cannot say enough how amazing that beer is. Everyone should try it.

Sadly nowhere to be found here in TN. T_T
I like it quite a bit, a really nice weizenbock.

Last night was a good night.

BA Alesmith Speedway Stout w/ Kopi Luwak Coffee, The Bruery Melange #3, 2012 Firestone Sucaba, Russian River Blind Pig, Cigar City Hunahpu's, one of my last bombers of 2011 Ballast Point Victory at Sea, Terrapin Wake & Bake, a growler of Sour in the Rye and a bottle of Goose Island BCBS.
The coffee speedway was one of the Alesmith's limited "buy online, pick up in brewery" releases that they seem to do every couple of months. They send out the details on their mailing list.
That's not a frosted glass is it!? Don't do that to your beer!

Don't do that. You've essentially made it tasteless.
Yeah, frosted mugs should be reserved for light macro beers.
The only thing worse than putting beer in a frosted mug is the people who get all snotty when someone puts beer in a frosted mug.
Every style of beer has an ideal serving temperature. You'll notice that the flavors typically change as the beer warms up. Some beers have no flavor so its okay to drink them as cold as possible (especially because those are primarily drunken from refreshment).
Putting something like a good stout in a frozen glass is kind of like going to a great steak house and getting your steak well done.
No style of beer has an ideal serving temperature that is universal. You may like your ris best at 55f. I may like it best at 35f. Or 75f. To each their own.
It definitely does all come down to personal preference, but telling that to someone new to this and asking what's wrong with a frozen mug is not providing useful information.

Exactly. The reason I avoid frosted glasses has nothing to do with the temperature - the glass will adjust to the temperature of the beer fairly quickly. I don't use frosted glasses because it causes condensation to form on the glass which adds water to the beer.
Stella Artois FTW.
Decided to go with some new stuff.
Looking forward to drinking them this weekend.
I don't think the squid ink added much to the flavour, mostly the colouring. Perhaps it's a little salty/umami, but I didn't notice anything off-putting.How interesting. What does squid ink taste like? Definitely want to see if I can locate this in the US.
Nice, ill try that for sure. I was happy with it too btw, wish it had more alcohol % but for the price its totally worth it.I had that Weihenstephaner a week or two ago and it was amazing. If you like it I recommend trying the Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier dark. It's even better IMO
Are there people that drink beer at coffee temperature? That sounds terrible. Hold on, I'm gonna go microwave a bud ice. Will report back

Fantastic pomegranite and hibiscus sour from Bend Brewing. Last bottle until May when I'm back down in Bend.

But for now I'm having my last bottle of Hopslam:
Not sure what to have when I'm finished with that. Having a beer backlog is tough.
lol. I don't even want to hear it.I'm envious of your Hopslam, last bottle or no. Such a glorious beer.
One of the more bizarre things I've ever drank:
I had that once when I was visiting the bay area. It was surprisingly good.
