Cries for Beyonce's long-awaited comeback have been heard throughout the land since the beginning of this year. But, after passing up several prime opportunities to premier new music (the Grammys, the Superbowl Halftime Show, her documentary), many were beginning to wonder if we were being a little premature with expecting new music from the self-appointed queen.

Well, the pleas have been heard, and now new Beyonce is finally here:

...Meh.

It's chopped. It's screwed. It's boastful and angry.
It's a little dated.
It's everything Beyonce claimed to be above when she made her last album. Seems like somebody's a secret Rihanna stan.

What say you, GAF?

Also, I guess it's about time someone started openly repping HTown...

That's the album cover?

Talk about conceited as fuck lol. I ain't even mad.

Edit: Beat is fire though lol. And damn I am laughing my ass off at how much she's cursin lmao. Most people come into the game hard then soften as time goes by, this chick is going in reverse lmao. Her core fanbase (older white women) are going to be confused as shit with this song; but on the flip side she'll probably pick up a bunch more fans from the younger group.

roy, you do too much

The beat is dope though. I wonder who the producer is.

apparently, it's hit-boy.

I hope she gets some beats coming her way from MikeWillMadeIt. But I'm hyped for this album. Does it have a name yet? Or is it tentatively called "5"?

Sounds like a Rihanna track. But if it were a Rih track, it wouldn't sound this forced since it's much more Rih's style than Bey's.

This is freaking garbage. It has no rhyme or reason .... it just goes from one sound to another and again to another; yet lacks any of the creativity, great vocals, story, or cohesiveness and full-circle completion of something like, say, Bohemian Rhapsody. This song is trash.

Music is really dying though.

Shit is just trash.

This techo and club faze that every genre of music is riding nowadays is keeping a lot of money in my pocket.

On top.

On top of what exactly, I am not sure. Definitely not the charts.

She's still the best as in "I've been on top this entire time".

It appears I'm way out of my league here.

Anyway, not a fan of Beyoncé specifically, but listening to Bow Down gives me the weird impression it's a mashup of two tracks. The beat, hi-hat and electro synth are from one track, and the vocals and stringwork from another.

I kind of like it though. Until she starts singing "bow down bitches bow down bitches bow down bitches bow down bitches bow down bitches bow down bitches bow down bitches". It seems unappropriate for Beyoncé for some reason. It is unbecoming.

I'm just happy MJ wasn't around today to have fucking nonsense plastered on top of .gifs of him being the fucking King of Pop.

MJ became more infamous than famous as his time on earth went on. I'm not sure .gif makers would have bothered making .gifs of someone who was lacking in relevance.

Ain't t nothin techno about this track, this is some straight H-Town Chopped & Screwed ratchetness, well the beat is anyway, not really sure what she's trying to do over it.

I just sent this to my friend's mom, she's listening to it now, hopefully she emails me back. She's this sweet older lady but loves Beyonce, I expect lulz from the email.
