Reading the fallout of this story now, this is where my head started feeling like it was caving in. I mean, what? "They weren't paid, confirmed." I didn't know about Gies. Jesus, he just can't stop getting the dirt on himself.

I knew Notch wouldn't have done this kind of thing. It's actually very disrespectful that people actually thought that pretty women couldn't be there in the first place and talk like a freaking human being. But I guess that for them some things are just too good to be true.

Gies' constant irrelevant politicizing is an annoying quirk, but the real issue I've had with him is his relentless hostility to the audience he should see himself as serving--gamers, not game companies.
