In context, I start to roll my eyes at that stuff because of what the whole of Marvel universes alludes to beings far more numerous and greater than humanity has. Yeah I know. I read and loved all of the Abnett + Lanning Annihilation/GotG comics. Cosmo can still be in Knowhere and/or part of the team without Nova (who is not confirmed for this movie as far as we know).

Groot can literally be anyone with voice modulation. He says one line over and over and will likely be mostly CG. Rocket is really the important one left.

I am hopeful that when they do introduce Nova it is the proper one (Richard Rider) and not that Loeb Abomination they are pushing in the comics right now. They seem to be using the right version of GotG so that is hopefully a good indication they will follow suit with Nova.


Re: Adam Warlock...I think he has a good chance of being in this since he is a founding member of this GotG plus Thanos is involved. I mean are they really going to have Cosmo but not him? Seems unlikely to me, but I guess it could go either way.

I have. An adaptation of Thanos Imperative is pretty much a must-have for the third/final GotG movie in a trilogy. Annihilation is also a perfect way to introduce Nova's character and can easily be a standalone film for him launching off the back of this GotG movie.

They are very unlikely to use him as Thanos' actual actor for these upcoming movies. He was obviously just a placeholder so it will still be interesting to find out whoever they ultimately cast as him.
