Half-joking. There's always some random stuff that happens in VS games. MVC3 isn't any different. Sometimes the hit boxes interact funny causing hits where you think you're safe, stray hits, glitches, etc. Most things are figured out but you'll occasionally got that odd outlier that makes people scratch their heads.

He's got the right idea though. He's trying various X/Dormammu/Doom teams. It's a good idea because Dormammu/Doom is what makes his team good. The Magneto isn't really that important, so trying other options could be good.

Hit boxes interacting funny isn't a Marvel only trait although the hit bubbles in this game are generally very poorly designed.
At least now that he's on strike, he has more disposable income than most tournament players.

Doesn't lag the console much on PS3, and the light background makes characters easier to see. Shield Airshow is also chosen sometimes for the light background.

The second MS thread has shot my spirits. But what still pisses me off is this distinction between always-on and always-online which no one seems to be interested in distinguishing. Regardless, the way the creative director replied does not inspire confidence.

Least lag outside the training, white background makes it easy to see characters and its just one press away from Training Stage. Essentially Training mode and Bonne Wonderland are the stages most played at although SHIELD air show is also a great stage to play on (clean background, easy to see, no lag although it takes a few presses to get to it).

The way he talks in the video is annoying me too. He sounds pretty immature, and is behaving in a way that is exactly what would deter away sponsors. Oh and taking a break from playing isn't going to help you either homeboy. He's definitely feeling himself a bit too much right there, like he's the only Top 8 placer that deserves a sponsorship. He might be going through a rough time in his life but this is not the way to be productive, or relieve that stress.

True but Marvel has a lot of characters, with tons of shit happening all at the same time, so there's a bit more room for error. It also makes it harder to analyze.

I haven't played Halo MP religiously since uh, probably 3. I played the shit out of the Reach beta, but when it dropped, I only stuck with it maybe a month or two.

Mind blown that FChamp didn't know that RT strings are unsafe without assist or at close ranged (against Captain America everything about Vergil is unsafe). Actually I don't think mant top players know this. This would explain why everyone lets ChrisG get away with such bad play with his Vergil.

Gist of it is the Iron Galaxy rereleases have declined in sales over time, so 3S:OE > MvC:O & DS:R. Makes sense when you consider the strength of the IPs. Thus they're probably going to stop doing them as Sven says it's probably time for them to slow down anyways with the ports. Looks like we may not get Alpha HD Collection, even if they were working on it before.
