They actually don't let you use Serebii? That's pretty crazy. Also just wanted to say thanks for the site. Though I will admit it may not be the easiest to navigate, it isn't all that hard and is perfectly usable.

My heart says fake because that grass evolution is retarded but after designs like Keldeo and the 3 5th gen dogs

That's a relief. I'd have a hard time taking Pokémon Y seriously this fall if those were the starters.
Gen 5 are the only starters I've liked since Gen 1.

Actually, I love the Ninenties feeling the website gives. It reminds me how, in 2000, I was looking for Pokémon pictures (in particular, the new Pokémon of the second generation... As a European they were new, indeed!) on the web.

The fourth generation had the best starters since the first, in my opinion. They knocked it out of the park with all three. 5 was definitely better than 3, but still feel a little off the mark.

In terms of stats I'm inclined to agree. But aesthetically, I dreaded every evo of my chimchar and I got rid of that ape as soon as I could.

Na, it's not that. As I'm in England, I got the Wii U two weeks after North America. As such, about 4 days before I got mine, some git registered Serebii on the Nintendo Network

When will fakers learn that starters seldom evolve into Pokémon that look relatively close to them. Pretty much since Gen 3 anyway

Oshawatt to Samurott is easily the most disappointing until the official artwork came out. I was expecting more Buizel with shell swords than it being four-legged like it is.

I really don't know anything about X/Y other than a trailer I saw. I haven't even caught up to Gen V yet passed the anime (working on that next).
I've played Pokémon Black, but the last main game I bought was Diamond. It was news to me when I saw they'd changed the top-down format.

Indeed, Oshawott final evo could have been badass. Dewott was a really good 2nd evo.
But doesn't the trailer have the starters?
This is not an excuse for having bad design in the first place.. nor would doing so fix the issue aside from result in some awkward formatting. The navigation on Serebii has always been terrible and muddied. It's still the best Pokemon resource on the web, and that is a pretty grand achievement you should be proud of, but man, you gotta be crazy if you can't see why it's poorly designed to navigate. You can have minimalistic navigation without it being messy.

How can ANYONE be seriously discussing if there is even the SLIGHTEST chance that those are real? They look like Sonic the Hedgehog fanart. Chespin literally just looks like if a human being tried to fan-insert himself into Pokemon as a Chespin. They are furry art. And look at them all with their sassy smirks and gonna-getcha eyes. They have as much chance of being real as something drawn in MS Paint.
