Seem to recall artist's impressions of every single Pokemon, and they were all 99% accurate. Spanish guy I think?

The 2nd stages of Snivy and Oshawott were leaked early on an anime character sheet, then with the full lines, before being officially revealed in Corocoro right before release. The final stages weren't officially revealed pre-release.
He certainly didn't have images of all of them, but quite a few. He did provide descriptions of them all on twitter.

Nostalgia is the worst. Some girl at uni was talking about Pokemon being shit now and how only the originals were the best, I asked her if she'd played any of the new games or could name any of the new Pokemon or even recognise their designs. Nope, nope, nope.

There are plenty of designs from Black and White that liked immediately upon seeing them for the first time. Some of my favorite designs are from Gen V (also some of the absolute worst too). Every generation has at least some nice new pokemon designs.
I am not a fan of this mewtwo/three/whatever design though. It's just looks kinda tacky to me. For what it's worth I didn't really like the starters or Sylveon either. Fennekin is the only one that looks decent to me but it's head just seems way oversized. Would be a good design if the proportions were different. I love the new legends though so that gives me hope for some more cool ones to come.

Exactly. I don't understand how OG Mewtwo is a fucking amazing design to most people, and this new one is shit.
For me, they're both okay. Mewtwo's a cool Pokemon conceptually and in game, but his design was never the best.

Pokemon , I firmly believe this(with more hedgehoggy franchises as well) they designs got better as years went on. Not saying that they cant make bad ones, no one remembers some of the gen 4 fish for that exact reason. But I generally think that the Pokemon have improved, and people tend to idolize their child hood.
Example, people make fun of this guy.
And they magically forget that a glob of purple, got called a Pokemon evolution.

I still say that potential new Mewtwo design is awful. I don't care for the Gamecube handle on his head and I don't like the way his ass is now on his head. He looks like a Zora or something. First Mewtwo reminds me of Frieza. New one reminds me of Majin Buu. (this is not a good comparison)
